Can we all agree, once-and for all, that Collinsworth is a grade A D-nozzle?

He was whining like a grade A KC fan about the roughing the passer call when Allen was driven into the ground, but didn't mention how horrible the roughing the passer call on Oliver was, or the holding call on Morse.  Collinsworth was absolutely putrid tonight.

Or the holding on Diggs to open the second half. "That was holding, but if you're Stefon Diggs you have to make that play."

He's the second best after Romo.  I swear you people only hear what you want to hear.  He loves Buffalo. He loves the fans.  He just pumps up winners not losers.  He called out all the great plays by the Bills.

Collinsworth is this you?  IF so YOU SUCK. lol

He was also lauding the Bills and ceding victory to them in the 3rd quarter...........but all Bills fan hear are the negatives.😂

The only issue I had was them getting upset over the roughing call on Frank Clark.    It was more of a roughing penalty than the one on Ed Oliver that sustained the Chiefs second half TD drive..........and the Clark roughing came right after a terrible holding call on Mitch Morse that would have otherwise been a first down.   If you are going to feed the officiating blamers/shamers.........at least be consistent.

I don't find his slobbering over the player du jour as irritating as some. I do, however, strongly disagree with his preferences when it comes to penalties. Seems too much like the NBA fans who think LeBron James deserves foul calls because of his star power more than the actual infraction.

I actually defended Colinsworth before the game started. Typically I do enjoy his analysis but this game was just insufferable and I feel he knew how biased he was being and just kept rolling with it. He reminded me a lot like Bobby Heenan announcing a WWF match back in the day. I’m just glad it’s over with and we don’t have to deal with him calling a Bills game at least until the playoffs.

Now heres a guy.....

Fun facts by Collinsworth -  Edmunds is still learning football, Collinsworth has no gag reflex for Mahomes, Kick a field goal down 18 with 3 mins left is the move, did you know Chris jones was out if not he told us every 15 mins. They wasn't many big passing plays (except all those TD's), Diggs needs to catch those after he gets held.

He's just too much. I don't care how he "tells it like it is" or how often he's right, he simply just talks too much. He clearly enjoys the sound of his own voice and that's pretty much always annoying.

How DARE a commentator....talk.....

I really don't get the hate for him. He's a pretty decent color guy

I thought my point was pretty clear. I'm not asking for dead silence. There's talking, and then there's smugly rambling because who knows, you have no real self awareness? you're filling time? Collinsworth is the latter.

I'd be pretty shocked if he wasn't right around average in terms of how much a color guy talks. I did notice 1 play today where the Bills ran a play wile he was still rambling about something from the previous play, but that's not unusual for color guys (even the vaunted Romo did that a few times today).

If you find yourself annoyed because a commentator "talks too much".... maybe you should examine your feelings/bias a little bit? Unless the color person routinely rambles on into the next play I don't see an issue

Al was worse to me. Old grumpy man up past his bed time. He's always come across like he's got a grudge against us, and im glad. Rubbed his nose in 💩

Al never bothers me for some reason. Despite his old man yelling at cloud demeanor I never really find any issue with him. I think him being around forever has created a sense of gravitas in my mind associated with him. Collinsworth just stinks outright.

(He seemed genuinely confused when Al Michael’s reminded him Milano was out. Not sure he knew who that was)

My father in law and I couldn’t get over how bad both of them were.

They trashed the Bills all night. It was brutal. No doubt both of them had a lot of $ on the Chiefs -2.5.

Michaels was actually pretty good. And normally I don't mind or get too worked up about the commentary, but by the end of it Collinsworth seemed like he was TRYING to say the dumbest s*** he could.

I don’t get as heater at Collinsworth as others. But when he said that Morse hold was “one of the easy ones to call” I almost threw my chair through my TV.

wasn’t it the PI when Kelce flopped over with the ball sailing into the stratosphere above him when he said that?

He was just begging for the Chiefs to get back into the game.

Just fawning over Mahomes.

What do you expect when the NBC broadcast was littered with 7 different Mahomes commercials. Patricia is so vested in the NFL revenue stream it's embarrassing. And the broadcast and officiating reflected that.

Al Michaels was worse tbh, but the Morse-to-frank clark commentary was too much. Unreal.

No dude no no not at all.  He sucked it....meaning KC's balls ALL nite long.  CC has been an embarrassing announcing fool for far too many years....NFL LOVES him cuz they CONTROL him.  He is a loser plain and simple.

Nothing bonds fans to their product.....err, team........ like the perception of referee shenanigans and disrespect from talking heads.

Top of the board for this thread!

Anyone expecting the NFL to change how they present either just doesn't know how to make a buck.
