It's not really the opposite take.  The Simms contention is that they can double Diggs and then we have no one behind him

everyone says that- to double diggs. You don’t think the colts and ravens did that? He still had over 100 yards and a TD.

The chiefs secondary also sucks outside of honey badger. In fact, I’ll take our entire defensive personnel over theirs, with the exception of Chris Jones ofc

Slightly o/t, but great reaction vid...representative of thousands of WNY homes last Sunday.

Young woman & dad, Ravens game, well-edited. I searched: don't believe been posted. Only one ref to her on board.

Pressed for time, skip to 9:45 for TJ interception. But stick w it until the end. Worth it.

I didn't cry after the game, but gotta admit I cried... watching her cry.

Wow, she’s pretty awesome. Just subscribed to her channel and listened to a Q&A. Really like her!

Rewatched the Bills vs Chiefs game, key things that stood out to me.....

#1 - As bad as the offense played as well as the run defense we were only down 10-13 with 1:18 left in the 3rd quarter.

#2 - Missed opportunities. (1)Missed FG right before the half after the Klein forced fumble on Kelce would’ve tied the game up 13-13. (2)The dropped INT by Josh Norman early in the 3rd quarter would’ve gave us the ball at our own 40 yard line. (3)The 3rd down stop on Mahomes scramble that should’ve been for either a no gain or a gain of 1 resulting in a 4th and 4 which the Chiefs kick the FG and the score is 10-16. Instead Mahomes picks up 4 yards with 3 defenders right in his face and gets it to 4th and 1...Chiefs go for it and score a TD.....20-10 Chiefs.

#3 - Zimmer, Cox Jr. , Klein and Norman got a lot of snaps in this game, I think that’s a huge reason why our run defense was as bad as it was.

#4 - Cody Ford was terrible in this game before leaving with a leg injury. The play before he got injured he whiffed on a block that resulted in his man tackling Moss for a loss on 3rd and short. We went for it on 4th and he got blown up on a Josh Allen sneak that resulted in Josh being stopped short, but we were saved by a penalty on us which gave us an opportunity to punt the ball instead of KC taking over in our territory.

#5 - The KC FG drive that increased the lead to 23-10......30 of those yards on that drive were helped by 2 uncharacteristic boneheaded personal foul penalties on White and Poyer.....defense imploded on that drive.

After rewatching that game I feel a lot better about Sunday night.

Cody Ford getting hurt has been addition by subtraction - he was the worst starter on the team and possibly the league before his injury.  He is close to busting out of the NFL if he doesn’t recommit to getting in shape and getting focused.

This game is going to come down to game plan/coaching adjustments as I think the teams are very evenly matched talent wise.

Reid is a master play caller and McD/Frazier are going to need a plan that they can adjust before halftime if need be.

If we can limit KC’s explosive plays I think we have a good chance of the W. Josh is playing excellent playoff football and I suspect he’s going to play to limit mistakes early and if he feels protected in the pocket, he’s going to light it up as the game goes on.

My fear is kc always finds a way to come back. How many times have they been down big in games and they come back and win? Houston last year in the playoffs, the superbowl etc. The bills cannot let off the gas

The game plan last game was actually perfect defensively even with all the rushing yards. The Chiefs had 13 points going into the 4th quarter before that TD run on 4th and 1. If our offense was on track that game we probably win that game. That had to be our worst offensive performance of the regular season.

With the QBs left that should be realized by everyone. Never out of the game with any of these guys. Keep playing.

Rewatching the Week 6 game...  Slippery conditions certainly played into the missed tackles on CEH.  I dont expect the running game to be as effective against our defense if it doesnt rain.  We put contact on CEH throughout, but he bounced off and we couldnt wrap up.

Mahomes was able to extend plays very well.  His mobility was crucial to pick up first downs and extend drives.  If his toe limits that, its a huge win for the Bills.

Josh had to be better against the zone concepts KC ran.  He looked timid and confused at times, and his line did not protect as well as they normally have.  Look to him to show some more swagger this week which I think will help.

Leverage the run game to set up play action and screens to Knox.  Will help (we had some good screen plays in week 6) move the ball against the D.

Limit EITHER Hill or Kelce.  I dont think you can limit both.  Pick one and shut them down.

Its going to be a good game, I am really interested to see how Allen does against a D he struggled with the first time around.

Are you sure there were slippery conditions? I had read on these forums that the weather was fine in that game.

How did the Falcons lose to the Chiefs?!? Go back and watch that game.......dropped INT by a Falcons DB with 2:01 left in the game up 14-10......next play Mahomes TD pass to Robinson. With 40 secs Falcons catch the Chiefs with 12 guys, Ryan’s throws a nice pass to Ridley in the endzone that he dropped.....tough catch but still dropped it. Falcons then miss like a 35-40 yard FG to send the game to overtime.

I’ve been watching a ton of Chiefs games on game pass .......very lucky team this year.

The Hail Murray loss=Miracle in Miami

The end result of that season NE SB Champs.

That should equate well for the Bills.

That loss left a sour taste in the Bills mouths and they won't ever forget it similar to NE imo

I don’t understand how NE’s loss to Miami has anything to do with our SB chances.

Kelce, Kelce, Kelce!

Not entirely sure how, but he is the security blanket, plus, plus. Maybe the Muddle "blitz" concept used v Ravens might help??

Edit: thinking more on this, Hill or Kelce may be the key issue (derp).

Imv, Kelce is the forcing function to KC offense, so you're left w a kind of Faustian bargain re Hill.

Realize this has been noted in these 60+ pgs, plus other threads. But I'm really interested in what people think re possible schemes/coverages to limit Kelce, and the inherent trade-offs therein.

Why? Well, @Royale with Cheese is apparently getting nervous so, lemming-like, I'm getting nervous as well.

Every generation has a team it picks for the idiots who know nothing of football to jump on cause they have success, or cause they have a player seen as the face of the league.

Cowgirls in the 90’s, Pats in the 00’s/10’s. Seems to be the Chiefs in the 20’s...

This is great and just so true. Its funny because its the Bills fans always getting the rep for being sensitive(rightfully so), but the minute anyone says the Bills have a really good team/QB and just might have a chance, Chiefs fans basically go postal..... Its as if they literally just started watching football over the last 2 years and havnt seen YEARS worth of minor upsets in the playoffs leading up to the superbowl.

With their ages & how good they both are, I'd bet that this is the 1st of at least 5-6 match-ups Mahomes and Allen will have in the playoffs.

It has the potential of being an all-time kind of rivalry.  And a really fun one to watch - 2 of the most dynamic players in the NFL for sure.
