Bangarang
Shouldn’t it be painfully obvious to them right now that Gase isn’t a good HC? He could get fired now and nobody would question it. That said, Gase can probably go back to being Peyton Manning’s personal assistant once he’s out of a job. It served him well before Edited September 28, 2020 by Bangarang

Charles Romes
When I saw Chris Hogan signed and starting I knew It would not be pretty. He was a marginal #3 in his prime like 5 years ago with Belichick coaching him.
Call_Of_Ktulu
No keep these good HC's in the AFC please. These teams need to give these HC's at least 5 years to evaluate Gase, Flores and Lynn. It's not fair to fire a HC without giving him at least 5 years. dpberr
He was a loser coach in Miami that all the players allegedly hated. He's never been head coach material. None of that information was industry secret. Some people make better coordinators than they do coaches. He's a weird guy. I was at the Eagles/Jets game last year in front of their bench, and he barely interacted with the players or other coaches during the game. frostbitmic
IMO, the Jets haven't given Gase enough time to bring his vision of the team to fruition. If I were running the team I'd give him not only this year but next year as well. Unless your name is Rex Ryan you deserve three years minimum to build the team you want to win with. 😉 1
TheCockSportif
Gase boggles the mind, in particular his snarkastic pressers. He and Gregg Williams (and to a certain extent Rex Ryan) share the same DNA where it's all rhetoric and swagger and then their teams end up sub-.500, or in the case of the Jets this year -- they could hit a perfect .000.
OrediggerPoke
Interesting. They should have evaluated Sam Darnold and Josh Allen prior to the 2018 NFL Draft.

He’s not going to the Bills as a backup. He’ll probably go to a place like NO, Tampa, or Indy where those QB’s are about to retire. On a very good team with a good coach, he can probably be rehabbed into a decent QB. I feel for Darnold. He didn’t choose to be drafted by a dumpster fire as the Jets will perpetually suck forever unless they unretire Parcells. Fat chance that happening. He’s the only HC I can even think of as decent for that team. Oh, there’s Belicheck, but only for about 12 hours. 🤣😇😂👌

DrDawkinstein
The day that Chris Johnson came out and said he fully backs Adam Gase I said, "well Gase is gone in a few weeks". EVERY TIME an owner has to publicly state to the media that they still back a coach, it's the kiss of death. Because only bad coaches who deserve to be fired would be in a position where the owner has to try to restore confidence. This is an unfortunate development for Bills fans tho. Would love to keep Gase in the division as long as possible. 1

DabillsDaBillsDaBills
Maybe I'm the only one, but if I was a Jets fan I'd want to see the GM fired before Gase. Gase has proven he's an average to a little below average HC through 4 years in the league with a 30-37 record for 2 teams that did not have high expectations or very good rosters. I'm looking up and down that roster and I see a team that would be in the running for 1st overall pick regardless of who the coach is.
machine gun kelly
I’m thinking 15 years. My only concern is I think Douglas will be a good GM, so his next hire might be pretty good.
