Week 16: Bills at Patriots***(*), 4:30 pm on NFLN, Postgame

Recommended Posts

Not just one person to blame but I think this one mostly goes on josh Allen. His stats look fine and his big plays made him look alot better but 95% of the game he couldn't make the simplist throws and gave up massive sacks and put his defense on the field the entire game. If he played remotely decent in the first half of both games against the Pat's the Bill's win both.

I’m far from a Daboll hater, and I don’t know where the calls came from in the first possession after taking the lead, but we lost on that conservative 3 straight runs and out.

Our defense uncharacteristically struggled all day, and immediately gave up long drives and the lead after.

That team is so depleted on offense and yet we let them out scheme us and we couldn't tackle.

Nevertheless, like the Ravens game, it came down to a 4th and goal and we just couldn't punch it in. Just thinking now it's up to the Chiefs to knock off the Pats in the divisional round and I still like their chances. Just too bad Brady and them get their freaking rest.

I want the Pats again.

So sick of this shyt. Baltimore, New England X2. “Oh the bills are close”. BS. Close means nothing in this league. Most games are close. Coaching scared gets you beat every time. Daboll and his punk a** laid down when they got up in this game. 1st and Goal from the 13 and that’s the last 4 plays we get. Absolutely embarrassing.

If Allen makes an accurate throw to Knox we tie.  The play calling was fine.

And of course the refs wouldn't see the face mask on Allen during an obvious QB sneak. Smh

They saw it, just refused to call it. Saw a few holds on the Pats Oline that should/could have been called. But as we know, the Pats play perfect ball though.

I love our defense.... but we also allowed 200 more yards of offense to the pats, as we have the previous 4 weeks.............

That’s because McDermitt refuses to bltz. Is he going to go in his turtle shell during the playoffs? Or he going to let the defense play. I bought a ticket for Buffalo Houston because I live in Houston and I’m from Rochester New York I hope we’re not gonna play this soft zone again

Loss on Daboll. Not sustaining drives and then falling short once again in the same exact situation as the Baltimore loss at the end of the game.  Obviously Josh missed some throws, but then he goes and makes throws I don’t think anybody else could make.

Defense played a hell of a game. You tell me Tom Brady is running 70 plays at home and I assume they hung atleast 40.

As Steve Smith just said “lacks creativity”...

We cannot beat good teams with this offense.  Period.  We might get past the Texans, but that’s it.

It’s very disappointing that NE, for all their problems, are still a better team.  It’s a hard truth. And I hate to say it, but coaching is a big part of it.

Daboll was so NOT the problem today. Christ, people. He drew up two easy TDs that Josh missed at the beginning and the end vs the best D in football. That said, Allen played well overall in crunch time.

and ef you, Pats fans.

Really?? Our 1st down play calling was awful today. We had 2 plays to get 10 yards on practically every series in the 2nd half.

Not sure what people are seeing that might make them put this game on Allen...  Hes a young QB who balled in the second half “when given the chance” (because he was rarely put in good situations with our 1st down run obsession).

That second half Allen gives me a ton of hope for the Playoffs.  Especially in the first game against defenses nowhere near as good as the last 3 we’ve faced.

Defense was uncharacteristically pathetic today.  Hopefully they are reminded of it frequently between today and WC Weekend.  Then come out angry.

The Daboll haters today are literally fools. Ignore them.

I'm not a Daboll hater, but I have some questions. The offensive line was atrocious, yet Daboll kept calling plays where receivers weren't turning their heads for 10-15 yards. It was repeated constantly. That's not on Allen (who did miss Knox badly for what would have been a TD)

and why.   because they were on the field all day due to 3 and outs

Right, they were on the field because of 3 and outs.... had nothing to do with the long, sustained drives the Pat's put on them.

We touched the ball what 3 times in the first half, why because the defense allowed a 12 play drive and numerous other long drives

You can be mad at the O but the D had just as much to do with this loss

The Bills just played way too tight today.

They didn’t bring any heat on the 40 something year old QB that no longer beats the blitz the way he used to. Very disappointed in that defensive effort today.

Josh was up and down and made some impressive throws but missed Knox twice for 6. Those are killers.

Allen left some on the field, but that happens against the best team in the league. The agreement that has always existed with this team is that offense will make enough plays, and the defense will make stops when needed.

whether or not that’s how we should be playing- that’s our identity. The offense did its work, the defense allowed the patriots to bully them all game.

Tough loss. Allen is gonna be the guy for a long time, we’re a year ahead of schedule, and we will be Super Bowl contenders this year and for a long time.

How is Daboll bad when he dialed up plays that had the TE wide open in the end zone?
