Ultra conservative play, no pressure at all by the defense, terrible tackling - of course you lose to the Patriots.  Mc may be a very good coach, but he's no Belichick.

Belichick ain’t crap without Brady for 2 Decades.....

1 pass to a running back is a massive under the radar problem that makes things easier for the defense to scheme us.  No threat out of the backfield thru the air in 2019.

Why is Yeldon here exactly?

Agreed.  And the coaching staff should look up the definition of "screen pass."  It's not illegal to coach it and use it.

all after the fact though, never in time, he was never in danger of doing more than having to pat a few more times

Unacceptable

He got flushed out of the pocket.  Was rocked once and he did not like it.

How is Daboll bad when he dialed up plays that had the TE wide open in the end zone?

Here are the 1st down play calls in the 2nd half from start to finish:

Pass for 28 yards

Pass play, Allen sacked

Rush for 1 yard

Rush for -3 yards

Rush for 4 yards

Rush for 1 yard

Rush for 0 yards

Incomplete pass

Allen scramble for 11 yards

Incomplete pass

Illegal formation, followed by a 25 yard pass

Rush for -1 yard

I think that 1st down play calling is inexcusable.

For those of you who think JA is the second coming of Christ, let me remind you that barring three nice throws, JA did nothing.  That's right.  Nothing.  Daboll do not help matters, but it was on him.  Let the PR people tee off on me.  Let me save you some time: "oh, but Allen is still young". oh, but he is still finding his rhythm,  "Billy Buffalo doesn't like him."  Okay guys, let me have it.

Milano was absolutely horrid tonight, he was so bad that he looked paid off.

That was his worst game as a Bill by an order of magnitude

Seeing a typically smart player that lost all night long was just bizarre

The offense is just tooo inconsistent, and has to get away from that "we have a lead, lets get conservative" crap.   And the kraft muct pay the league huge money to get all the calls/non calls.  Some of them were horrible!    To miss that face mask is unconscionable.

This game comes down to Qb play...bottom line.   If you deny it, you are in fantasy land.

If Allen throws two accurate passes to Knox, we win.

If he doesn't vastly improve next season on his accuracy, we really need to look at Qb position.   It is really the only thing holding back this team.

This was a winnable game. Mistakes were made by a couple different players, but Allens accuracy is the main reason we lost.

Yes, I just knew that it was grounding, and yet of course they get away with it. I mean is it too much to ask for fairly called game. Really, it's like everytime the Bills play the Pats it seems like it's always something with bad calls/non calls tilting in the Pats direction. It's crazy.

Bills could and should have made more plays to win this game but damn man, call the ***** down the middle. It's not too much to ask for god sake.

I feel you, man. It's like the refs feel the Bills have no business competing with the Pats and makes sure nothing funny happens.

I’m far from a Daboll hater, and I don’t know where the calls came from in the first possession after taking the lead, but we lost on that conservative 3 straight runs and out.

Our defense uncharacteristically struggled all day, and immediately gave up long drives and the lead after.

We sat on the lead when it was 17-13.  We should have been going for the jugular.

Because no one covers him, or does a good job of trying to cover him, in the slot

Novel idea.  Put your best cover man on their best WR.  White was wasted on covering Harry.

This is fair, we looked so soft on those 2 long drives that kept the offense on the bench in the first half.

McDermott and Frazier played Soft zone until they got beat during the Browns game and then they woke up for a while. Looks like they’re going back to it.

I'd call you something here but some mods love defending people like you.

For the record I'm not all that upset about this game. I think our game plan overall was pretty vanilla, especially on defense. Roberts was kneeling it in the endzone which is new. We didn't look like the same aggressive team that we've been for the past few weeks. I'm hoping Daboll doesn't actually think a bunch of short yardage runs on 1st down are the way to beat playoff teams.
