Besides the first drive fumble... Allen played well. Imo they wanted to ease Singletary into NFL action. By the second half he played under better control. Belichick and the defense won those first three Super Bowls in my opinion. Not a bad blueprint to follow if you can pull off the defense, and I think our guys can. Self inflicted effort to steal a loss from the jaws of victory all 1st half and really most of 3rd Q, then a furious rally when JA and co finally hit their groove and learned how to finish—to say nothing of a D with backbone. Darnold is not the reason they lost, but it must be tough for those fans to watch Allen look like a playmaker. Allen is out there making plays with his feet and showing off an elite arm. After seeing both teams, I do strongly believe we are the better team overall. Mosely and Bell had strong games for the Jets. With all of Josh’s ups and downs he finished with a 65% completion rate. OL is vastly improved. Not sure about Ford at OT. Milano struggled anticipating Bell out of the backfield. Strong game by Shaq. Coming back down multiple scores, on the road against a rival, overcoming mistakes and terrible play, playing the full 60 - what a huge experience for this team, and one they can build on.
