  1. Because we've never seen a team turn it around with a rookie QB
  2. You realize he gave up picks they needed too right?
  3. He's much more talented than Wade as far as Rugby goes, but WR is going to be tough. He would've been one of the old guys on this last 6n squad lol, he probably made the right choice this year.
  4. The perfect game was a dream I guess lol Anyone with eyes saw Diggs start to fall off. No plan in place will doom this team.
  5. I'm not going to argue what he should do, just that other teams would probably be willing to spend on more than one quality option at a time. Diggs is dropping off and I don't think Kincaid will be Gronk or Kelce soon.
  6. I hope this doesn't go the way of Rodgers where they just disrespect the position until the guy wants to leave. Luckily he isn't even a fraction of that kind of crazy.
  7. Their stats aren't comparable. He ran a fast 40 which they train for, but straight line speed is very overrated in the NFL. Tyreek is a freak because of his agility.
  8. Don't forget what a ***** show the league was last year. There were so many starting QBs out that will be back on playoff contenders. Cinci is probably back in the mix with a better Pittsburgh and the same Ravens. Chargers will probably improve based on the coaches record of improvement and KC will still be a monster. God forbid if the Jags get it together and the south had them plus Houston. Last year was probably the best it's ever going to be.
  9. I think Taron Johnson has become the most overrated player on the team. He is a very good slot corner, but he isn't a game changer. He completely forgot how to get inside leverage multiple times this season and was embarrassed by TEs. In the loss to the Patriots it didn't even look like he was trying. I'm glad he is here, but nobody is scared of a defense because their slot corner is good.
  10. All offense or just mail it in. Diggs isn't young and they can't put it off anymore.
  11. I don't think Rapp is anywhere near Poyer in terms of play. Poyer is controlled aggression and Rapp is wild. I think he has one good series but I don't have high hopes.
  12. I don't get what they see though, he is a total liability in coverage. He clearly leaves gaps to line up big (usually illegal) hits instead of playing the ball. Tre White and Benford are the only actual developed DBs by this regime. Green Bay has developed as many of the good DBs on the Bills as the Bills have.
  13. I worked on the R&D side of DoD contracting and this wasn't the case. At a certain level it's almost always grabbing someone from the outside or poaching competitors in a way that your CEO will have time at all the major players. Innovation and improvement usually comes from fresh perspectives and not the same staff. The fear is complacency and unfortunately I think we are right there. You don't want to end up like NE who was just void of outside influence and crashed post Brady.
  14. This part is maddening, the punter is worse, kicker was way worse, kick coverage was awful for a team that tries to force returns, and the punt coverage was very bad. The fake was poorly executed and he had to be involved in the too many men debacle.
  15. Jim Overdorf is maybe the most ridiculous person in franchise history. Beane talked about Whaley and the bad contracts that they had to get out from all while Jim was still there. To me it all goes back to Pegula's management hierarchy that doesn't work for the Bills or Sabres. The coach not working for the GM and the GM not controlling contracts is just a recipe for disaster.
  16. I agree, but Marcell Dareus wasn't far off. He was the best DT in football until Wrex had him in coverage.
  17. Are you saying that Stanford was bigger faster stronger or Michigan? Do we just discount his 4 years in SF or his time in Oakland?
  18. He took an awful Stanford team and had the largest upset in history against USC and then the most points scores against USC in history 2 years later. Pete Carroll left for the NFL after that and USC hasn't been a legitimate contender since. Legion of Boom was 11-18 or 19, so all 4 of his years. "If he didn't completely rebuild the Michigan program they wouldn't have a Championship" ftfy. He had a proven track record in a way we could only wish. You're trying to downplay how big this is for the Chargers, but the weapons they have are dangerous.
  19. Lol he basically ended USCs run in the PAC 12, went to the NFL and only managed 3 NFC championship games in 4 years in the same division as the legion of boom, then went to Michigan and remade the program.
  20. They split their regular season matchups and he owned him in college. The dude wins everywhere he goes and that's not debatable. They lost by 3 points lol did everyone just hallucinate? 3 NFC championships in 4 years is pretty good. Especially when you consider the Seahawks were monsters around that time.
  21. He doesn't have to build a team, he already starts with arguably the best QB he has ever had (Luck wasn't fully developed as a sophomore). That's huge.
  22. I mean we get some pretty sub-par safety play if Hyde is out. There is a very clear drop off when Rapp played in the backfield and not as a 3rd safety/lb. I'm not sure McD has show the ability to scheme around missing pieces like that yet.
