He would have to turn back into the defender who had inside coverage. He would basically give up being open.

C'mon dude lol

Bills Jets brawl in tunnel after the game.

Jordan Phillips is the defensive Incognito. He really brings the attitude when he's out there. -
Davis is a middle to deep route guy, which is exactly what you don't throw against the Jets. This game was tailor made for slot/te. I wouldn't read too much into 0 targets.

Is a future move to Safety possible for Tre White??
Trogdor replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's not what I'm saying here, the team is way over next years cap at this point. Even with tough cuts they still won't be able to address both sides sufficiently. They're going to have to pick a favorite kid and go all in there. -
The Steelers are going to be the #1 seed

Pittsburgh is stuck in this just barely good enough state with basically no way out. They draft too high for a big splash and they're not going to blow up a playoff team. It's the Andy Dalton Bengals all over again. -

IMO this is why Rapp was available, he isn't looking to make a play on the ball, he is looking to make a 70s style highlight hit. Hyde is still good enough to get time, but he is slower and that's tough. Whoever takes over this team will be going all in on offense. They have to, the cap is going to be a mess with a series of poor drafts not helping anyone. There won't be anywhere near enough capital to address both sides next year. -
Does Allen hold some accountability for personnel decisions?
Trogdor replied to Johnnyp566's topic in The Stadium Wall
You don't let a young still developing QB pick the coordinator. That's something you do for polished savvy vets who are looking for someone to basically help. Allowing a guy with no play calling experience take over a team like this is a strike against Beane and McDermott. IMO Dorsey was tailor-made for McD in that he also had an outdated way of viewing offense and he wasn't going to go against what he wanted. -
Post 13 seconds all I wanted was a Rams type sell out. I could easily handle mediocre for a few years post Super Bowl. I think some people would be ok if the team moves as long as we win one lol.

I like Josh Allen, but he is not Lebron. Also, Diggs, Cook, and Kincaid are weapons. Even on the right route Shakir and Davis are dangerous. Josh is making a lot of bad plays, the play calling was bad, but he has also played bad.

I think it's been a mess all season. The punt and kick coverage has been really bad, but beyond that the blocking on punt and kick returns is worse. They're constantly returning the ball and getting to short of the 20 on kicks and get very little of anything on punt returns. This is after they signed a former all pro returner.
-
You mean our 7th highest cap hit Taron Johnson?
-
They need to bring back Punt God and just let him kick it through the end zone. The kick and punt coverage is horrible this year. Not to mention the returns have been really bad.
-
If Denver player didn't bobble it he has 2 ints on bad throws and now a fumble. He is the problem, he can be the answer, but he just isn't good enough this year to make up for the few bad plays.
-
If you want to feel real sick, Taron Johnson has the 6th highest cap hit, just south of Vonn. Ed Oliver is like a other $2m below that in 7th. Too high still imo for a guy who can't finish his pass rush.

I thought watching and speculating was exactly what fans were supposed to do. ***** even the front office should be planning for the future.
-
The one with where he is running up field on the outside and Allen doesn't even come close to the target. It's behind the receiver and flat. It wasn't even a hard play and it makes no sense to throw like that when the DB has inside coverage.
-
That throw was yards behind him and directly to the defender. It looked like he forgot which team he was throwing to, I'm not sure what you want him to do there. There is a theme on this board to come up with excuses for Allen's turnovers that has existed since day 1. He is stupid with the ball in both carrying and throwing it, that's just something they are going to have to scheme around.

The Ripoff Report: The Good, the Bad and the Irritating
Trogdor replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think they could even if they want to. They are stuck in so many bad contracts after all that ***** they talked about the Whaley regime. I really hoped they would've sold out a few years ago, but alas, here we are. -

Davis can still be dangerous in middle distances over the middle and deep routes. He also blocks well, but he shouldn't be getting top pay. Who knows though, he could go perform like Robert Woods somewhere else if they use him in that role. -

He threw it directly into a db about a foot shorter than him lol. I think tipped doesn't accurately describe how bad it was. He is both the problem and the solution in games like these. Overall though I think we see how much better he is when the clock isn't under 10 every play. The last td was a straight arm push off of Benford that should be OPI. -
A trade is the only way to save the season
Trogdor replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
Williams is slow. He was late in coverage or just outrun to the sidelines on a few plays today that really hurt. He and Taron Johnson had an awful game. Idk how much of that is play calling when he never looked off Knox and then tried to loft a ball into 3 defenders. It was lazy from Josh. -
This season is a wash…time to focus on rebuild m

Whats the cap hit on Von? I thought there was still a year or two before it became realistic to cut him if needed.
