  1. Diggs brings the perfect win mentality and it's all gas with him. It wasn't an issue when you had Josh going balls the wall to improve and everyone was on the same page, I just don't think that drive is there for everyone anymore. You need people like Diggs, they aren't going to win it all with choir boys.
  2. He is so slow, speed rushers have been going around him for years now. No speed and no flexibility.
  3. Terry was knowingly pumping chemicals into people's well water on more than one occasion. His company had one of the worst compliance records while he lobbied for more fracking. This isn't an anti-fracking rant, but you wouldn't use the "great person" label if he knowingly destroyed the water in your county.
  4. That's what I'm saying, I don't want them playing a guy at tackle who got kicked inside in college. Bills don't develop well enough to move players around like they do.
  5. God I hope not. I'd prefer not trying another guard with a lack of athleticism at tackle lol. I really dislike the "able to play multiple positions" aspect of Bills scouting, it almost always means they aren't great at any of them. Just get people that are above average at the positions they need them in.
  6. McD coached the worst scoring defense in Eagles history. He wasn't a scape goat, his unit was awful. The guy had one excellent year in Carolina and people act like he had all these years of success.
  7. If you look at any year outside of the Super Bowl run it's not flattering.
  8. Key role players? Also, GMs routinely restructure deals, look at what Miami has done in a worse position. This is a bit premature.
  9. I have to agree here. McDs record as a defense coordinator isn't very good. He had one very good year in Carolina where they were constantly playing from the front with a dominant offense. Prior to that it's all middle of the road and one year that was the worst scoring defense in Eagles history. I also don't see this list of DBs that he has developed that would warrant such trust that he can make any secondary work.
  10. I think the Chief's have a longer window because their GM is better. His drafts hit at an unusual rate and he is able to combine cheap rookie talent and veterans. The Bills haven't hit at all and are going to start losing the vet contributors because they can't afford it. I mean we have Dawson Knox paid in the top 10 and he isn't that at all. The Bengals though are going to have trouble when the WRs have to get paid and the results of that remain to be seen.
  11. Dan Marino retired without a ring lol nothing is impossible. We probably have the same chance at being the Rivers Chargers as we do anything else. Unless you think the Chief's and Bengal's window is shutting quicker.
  12. I feel like 1 good gunner. Matakevich is the only guy I ever see making plays.
  13. I think the special teams specialists is a bigger issue. They act like it's making the difference out there and waste more than a few spots on it.
  14. The NFL is filled with teams who had promise and never put it together. I just don't want this to be the Philip Rivers Chargers. They just don't seem pressed at all to make changes to a system that isn't working in the playoffs.
  15. Cherry picking lol your whole point is that you assign who is a good fan and who isn't. That's the whole problem with this thread, people deciding who can and can't be a fan based on their own reactions to events.
  16. What a bar lol. This is basically saying a good fan finds excuses for not reaching the pre-season goal. Every team deals with injuries and I get the Hamlin situation was different, but my god, they were floundering before that. People also use the Kim Pegula situation like that was wearing down the players lol c'mon. You can be a good fan and still believe things need to change. The roster on paper might look ready, but the product we saw was not.
  17. There is also a contingent of people who do the same with Josh Allen.
  18. Yeah this would make sense in 10-15 years when the kids who have only known some success are on here. Hell, the older guys on here have seen better times than most.
  19. You don't think this year was hard? Easily the biggest letdown in 20+yrs with all the Superbowl predictions. You're out of touch if you think people didn't get their hopes up even through the just win second half of the season. When they sucked it was easy to point to the roster or the GM and not get so invested. I think collectively we thought this was our year in Buffalo and then watched as we slipped back in the AFC.
  20. It's tough to finally get hope and just get completely outclassed. It was easier when they sucked.
  21. So you need a top offensive line, multiple targets, and a different coaching staff for Josh to throw to the underneath and open receiver? If that's the case I don't ever want to hear about him being better than Mahomes or Burrow who will hit what's given. I'm not out on Allen, I really like him, but jesus the excuses when he plays poorly.
  22. All of those problems can exist and he can still have regressed. Idk how many screenshots and videos you need to see of him just overlooking open underneath stuff to push it deep. That was a problem he had in college and one I thought he had kicked.
  23. I keep seeing this as though Benford wasn't the better of the two rookies when healthy. He is more polished in zone and showed good athleticism. He also didn't need to grab in coverage so he didn't make stupid penalties. Why put him at safety when corner is still a weakness?
  24. I meant why doesn't Whaley get credit. It's like how people forget that he found Hyde and Poyer. Not a great drafter, but McD gets a lot of credit for stuff he probably didn't do, like have his team prepared.
  25. Milano is very good and White was great, but I think Dawkins is the most overrated played on the Bills. He is so slow and gets beat by speed all the time. Question is, why does McD get credit for this draft but Beane is the one for everything else? I think he gets too much credit for player personnel and too little for the people he hires.
