2020 was our best offense when you consider PPG. Since then there has been a very clear shift to a running offense. It's real cool that it works in the regular season, but it's been sputtering in the postseason. Even the Ravens game last playoffs was a fluke thanks to the great field position.

Josh Training With Maye In Offseason.
Trogdor replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allen is very much like Jack Eichel, he does his thing very well and basically sits on his tablet on the bench. I would like more Baker Mayfield and we had that when Daboll was on him. This team needs more Richie Incognito who would kill for a win and less Dawkins just here for the vibes culture. -
He blamed the offense after 13 seconds. If people didn't know then that he was the wrong coach then idk what they want. He wants a slow plodding offense that keeps his rotation heavy defense off the field.

Division is out at this point…have to do it as a wildcard
Trogdor replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Giants went as a 6th seed having already taken the undefeated Pats down to the wire. They also had an extremely dangerous pass rush. Do you think this defense is holding anyone to 14 or 17 points in the playoffs? I don't think every team has a chance. You have to be dangerous in at least one aspect and the Bills aren't and probably haven't been since 2020. -
Wait until people realize the dead cap hits from trying to shed these bad contracts means it's not changing anytime soon.

The goal should be Super Bowl or bust, this isn't some kids league. What does making the playoffs do other than move the draft pick higher? Sounds like drought ptsd more than anything. -

McBeane handed the keys to two coordinators with little to no experience calling plays. This falls on them. -

This window is closed and it's not opening for a while. The staff needs to go and the roster has to be overhauled. -

That's a bad tackle that somehow worked out. I'm not sure at this point they can learn to wrap, but it's awful to watch. That could've easily been a TD. -

The sad part is that when his speed drops Allen is going to drop off fast. I don't think he will be Can bad, but they are wasting way too many years with him. -

I still believe that his play was as much a scheme issue as anything. The guy is a deep middle threat and they had him short. -

Back to the same script of short run, screen, long third, punt -
Nah, ***** em anyway. The right play is always the push. They have effectively neutered Allen now and he is much less dangerous with his legs than in the past, taking the push away all the time is another hit.

Can everyone just take a freakin breath?

Daboll was right about the offense and McD was wrong. The heavy TE set rushing offense with Allen should be criminal. Beane also talked a lot of ***** about the Whaley cap management, but look at how awful the current roster is with no space. I'd force my way out like Eichel if I'm Allen, the Pegulas are not good owners and it will take more time for action. Who are they going to throw to? If Kincaid is hurt it's over. The secondary is about to be lit up bad by Tampa. -
This isn't crazy, the Bills only consistent receiving threat is an undersized TE that can't stay on the field. When he is gone they can just play the sticks up and beat our offense. It's over guys and gals, they have wasted another year of Allen and with the contracts they have it will be a loss for at least 2-3 more years. Anyone looking at it pragmatically can see it.

There is no scheme for anything past the sticks in the passing game. I hate to tell people, but the window is closed and Beane isn't getting fired.

Buffalo Bills 2025 is a Matchup Nightmare - PFF
Trogdor replied to BillytheKid's topic in The Stadium Wall
Until a team slows Kincaid and there is no other option. Having a good TE is an asset, but what happens when they need another blocker or a second option? Coleman isn't it. -
Anyone that acts surprised when it happens is new or already lost. They basically have to go heavy defense because to replace Milano, another DT, another DE, maybe a MLB, another safety.
-
The same folks who still haven't fired Kevyn Palm Tree's Adams. The man who tried to publicly shamed a 23yr old Eichel into getting his neck fused. They have absolutely lucked into the current Bills situation.

My brother or sister in Christ, you do whatever you have to to win it all and then you deal with it. It's not his job to build a playoff contender and call it a day, the goal is to win it all or he isn't right for the job.
-
Tasker and Brown are basically the Bills PR on WGR. I wouldn't be shocked if they got fed.
-
This fear of another drought is insane to me. The goal has to be the Super Bowl, anything less is loser *****. McD and Beane are never going to get us there, they both have serious deficiencies in their respective jobs.
-
Outside of one year in Carolina, he wasn't even a good coordinator. He ran the worst defense in Eagles history and got fired, and then ran a bunch of mediocre defenses in Carolina. I swear he got the job just off of Norman having a pro-bowl year. The idea that he coaches up DBs has always been a mystery to me.

A Few Thoughts about the Falcons Game - Community Edition
Trogdor replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
He tried to address the mess he made by drafting really poorly. The only defensive contributor is a guy that fell to them thanks to an injury history. The reach for Sanders was criminal and Landon Jackson mighty never be ready. I also don't think Hairston was going to be developed right away. Hopefully as the opposing defensive coordinator. -

The injured defensive players aren't good though...
