The Buffalo receivers can't separate against good or better secondaries. Who would you trust to be open and catch a ball when they actually need it? Nobody has shown that ability yet. 273 total yards against the Ravens wasn't exactly elite, they cant expect good teams to just kill themselves every year. Who even knows what this team looks like without the threat of Cook. The Eagles have a much more talented offense and that means something in the playoffs.

Why do people keep acting like the Eagles don't have an extremely talented offense too? They can make plays when they have too, and they can absolutely win in a shootout. This idea that they won only because of defense is crazy, the NFC had a few teams that probably could've beaten the chiefs. The Bills would've been murdered in the SB with the roster he assembled.

He doesn't evaluate well in the early rounds outside of Allen, and he really doesn't evaluate WR well at all either. That Diggs trade looked good short term, but consider who he passed on in that draft its rough. Cooper was bad all year, the wheels have fallen off and that's a miss, Coleman is exactly what the scouting said he would be. He is a big body who high points well but can't get open, which means he is a really good piece but never a #1. Kincaid getting drafted for his hands and then only catching about half the balls thrown to him is worse than bad. Blaming a leg injury for dropping the pass in the playoffs was also a choice. They need a safety valve who can get open when they need it and they still don't have one of those, it really hurt them when the sneaks stopped working.

They just gave up on the rush in that game, I wouldn't consider that the rule as much as the exception. Lamar and Henry had 900 and 1900 yards rushing.

Coordinators have changed, players have changed, and the Bills are still a touchdown away.

I feel like you are really exaggerating on elite. The Bills have a good run game, but Ravens and Eagles are elite, we aren't even that close there. Also, Shakir is good, but he is not an elite receiver. Coleman and Samuel are complimentary pieces, not the #1 they need. They had trouble against good man coverage, I don't think the offense is as set to be a championship caliber one right now.

This, I'm more interested to see how someone plays when not surrounded by probowl caliber teammates. Anyone coming to Buffalo this off-season will have to be a one man wrecking crew while they transition their personnel to man coverage.

Hopefully we find out when he is on another team. The absolutely cannot bring him back.

MVS looked better in New Orleans, it might just be scheme. We all saw our receivers get shutdown easily by decent man coverage. They need to build a team that will beat the big dogs, not run up the score in the regular season.

Ken Dorsey got hired. I'm not out on Brady, but his inability to scheme WRs open and provide new looks in the championship is troubling. I'm more on Beane who is awful at drafting early rounds. Dawkins, Milano, and White all came from the draft before him, outside of Allen, has he hit on that much talent at all. I don't think McD and Beane get it done, but hopefully I'm wrong. History is not in their favor.

Personally I think Rapp is trash. He was one of the worst safeties in football last year and this year was a heat seeking missile for his own teammates. He constantly bites and goes for the 90s style hit instead of making a plan on the ball.

Our line has been trash for a while, he just doesn't have Hyde, Poyer, and White to cover it up. I hope we can put to bed this McD secondary guru BS because Josh Norman made the probowl one year.

Idk, I think a lot of this is drought shock. We would never give a pass to coordinators on other teams with 1.5yrs on the team and experience before that. The staff is meh and the roster is bad. I even see people give Beane a pass like this team isn't void of playmakers outside of like 2 guys.

So a seasoned OC with already half a season with this team.

Except there was only 1 new coordinator lol. The only new coordinator was for defense and the head coach is an experienced DC. Either way, they would be his bad hires.

Kincaid is just TE Zay Jones, can't miss hands in college that disappear in the NFL. He caught about 50% of his targets this year.

The goal is to win the SB no? This team isn't built for it and I don't think the front office is either. There are so many problems that are just ignored, the absolute lack of ability when it comes to scouting WRs.

Rapp and Bishop are basically the same safety.

I mean the Bills went into prevent with 4 minutes left and allowed the Ravens to just march down the field. Then they completely misplayed the 2pt. Those teams won by staying aggressive, the Bills turtled up and the Ravens imploded.

Hyde and Poyer were both CBs that were moved to safety and excelled. Hyde was actually a pretty decent CB too before being kicked back. I would hope a college safety would be further along with the supposed DB guru McDermott.

Is it though? Or does the threat of a mobile QB require defenses to leave a spy and help the run game? Even a lot of the passes are from him buying time for WRs to work open. They still seriously under invested in WR and Cooper isn't a long term answer.

He is a high draft pick. Elam and Bishop shouldn't be that much of a drop off.

I came here looking for exactly this lol, he should never ever get a shot at safety again. He cost them big.
