  1. Rapp is the worst safety in the NFL. He is late to every play and looks to torpedo instead of tackle.
  2. Or just get a better coordinator. Kick and punt coverage are bad too.
  3. Unless Von Miller goes to jail I don't think they can afford to pay anyone. This is kind of a moot point as they will have to go to a draft pick. Had he balled out they wouldn't have been able to keep him either. I think people are underestimating how bad that cap situation is.
  4. There was also at least one play where Kelce is in motion and instead of staying flat he rounds it and gets a CFL head start at the snap. They get away with a lot.
  5. I thought this was by design to try and force a run that gets stopped before the 25. Problem there is that the coverage unit is awful and has been all year. I'm not really sure how the ST coordinator has a job.
  6. Sports reporting is plenty brutal, but I think coaches get passes that players don't. It probably doesn't help that the Buffalo sports media is soft, these themes would probably be daily topics in other markets. Like 50% of WGR are Bills employees at this point and just ignore negative things.
  7. I bet this still gets replayed like the Henry stiff arm that came back for a penalty lol.
  8. He just got gifted his own 12 men moment lol. Defense had ***** the bed last minute after letting them walk down the field.
  9. The Bills are so far past the cap I don't even know who they can cut to actually save money. They're going to have to let a lot of really good players walk and get vet minimum/draft picks in.
  10. I think the similarities are actually pretty good. Old school defensive thinking coaches who surround themselves with yesmen. Neither reportedly seem to handle differences in opinion well. Even the player preferences seem similar.
  11. Man, he might have to leave the industry and get a menial labor job in rural America. I don't know how he's going to show his face after this one. What a travesty, there is going to be a lot of prayer and character building. 🙄
  12. If this is making him sympathetic for you then there probably isn't anything he could do wrong.
  13. You don't think the Coaches interactions with the players and coaches is part of the game? That's a horrible cop-out not some wisdom gained with age.
  14. I should be shocked that so many people can just brush past the 9/11 speech being confirmed, but can't believe this is anything but a fabricated hit piece...but it is 2023.
  15. Yes lol. That team ran almost 100% on Newton. Did he fade fast? Yes, but the run they had was him. McD might be one of the most overrated DCs in history. He put together one of the all time worst defenses in Philly and was mediocre at best in Carolina with a very good line and HoF MLB.
  16. He would have to turn back into the defender who had inside coverage. He would basically give up being open.
  17. Jordan Phillips is the defensive Incognito. He really brings the attitude when he's out there.
  18. Davis is a middle to deep route guy, which is exactly what you don't throw against the Jets. This game was tailor made for slot/te. I wouldn't read too much into 0 targets.
  19. That's not what I'm saying here, the team is way over next years cap at this point. Even with tough cuts they still won't be able to address both sides sufficiently. They're going to have to pick a favorite kid and go all in there.
  20. Pittsburgh is stuck in this just barely good enough state with basically no way out. They draft too high for a big splash and they're not going to blow up a playoff team. It's the Andy Dalton Bengals all over again.
  21. IMO this is why Rapp was available, he isn't looking to make a play on the ball, he is looking to make a 70s style highlight hit. Hyde is still good enough to get time, but he is slower and that's tough. Whoever takes over this team will be going all in on offense. They have to, the cap is going to be a mess with a series of poor drafts not helping anyone. There won't be anywhere near enough capital to address both sides next year.
  22. You don't let a young still developing QB pick the coordinator. That's something you do for polished savvy vets who are looking for someone to basically help. Allowing a guy with no play calling experience take over a team like this is a strike against Beane and McDermott. IMO Dorsey was tailor-made for McD in that he also had an outdated way of viewing offense and he wasn't going to go against what he wanted.
