CONCUR.....and just for the record how many hours go by until the grounded jets are waiving their kicker. The truth is his play made a pivotal difference and the bills won in the end HA!!! I'll take win ugly over losses enny ole day and twice on sunday! Singletary and some clutch defensive plays sparked the win. Feels GREAT!~!~!

Amazing, really. Jets scored 4 times today, yet their PK had zero points. When has That ever happened?

His first half wasn’t nearly as bad as the counting stats would indicate.

The turnovers were all very flukey as opposed to being poor decision making; and by my count Allen really only made two truly poor decisions throughout the game, neither of which came back to bite him.

If this is who Josh Allen is, the Bills are going to be playoff contenders for the next 10-15 years or so.  Without bad luck, the Bills win this game by 3-4 scores in a run away.

Totally agree. I was pretty impressed with most of the first half. The snake bit flukey turnovers were a gut punch but they didn't indicate inherent issues to me.

Agreed on the two mistakes.

I think we’ll see more of the same next week as the G-men also have a susceptible Secondary. Daboll is developing his Air Allen offense to be whatever best suits beating the next opponent. Thrilling, actually.

Air Allen... I like that!??

My favorite take on ganggreen.com?

" Sam was out played by Josh and it wasn’t even close. "

Yassssssssss

Darnold was pretty bad... I think part of that has to do with Gase tbh. He had 4.3 yards per attempt!

Had my doubts, but D played great hung there in 1st, Jets had 4 deflections, no turnovers.  Both Bills deflections ended in turnovers.  Expected O especially O line to be a little off but got better as game wore on and they did. As Allen got more in rhythm against a good Jets D things started happening....  Great win!

I just heard Dion Dawkins post game interview ?.

What the hell is that kid on? I have never heard such a stream of absolute nonsense rolling from one man and I work day to day with politicians.

Still, he seems to be all in and that is kinda cool. I might want him to be a silent leader going forward though.

We moved the ball at will against the Jets for much of the game. Shot ourselves in the foot with turnovers, some were unlucky for sure. We punted twice all game. We had sustained drives of 7 plays for 37 yards, 9 plays for 40 yards, 9 plays for 8 yards, 9 plays for 50 yards, 8 plays for 85 yards and 8 plays for 80 yards....pretty impressive against what will end up being a pretty good defense, in week 1. I was happy with that.

Score of this game should have been a blow out. But turnovers are a part of the game and we lost that battle, regardless of unluckiness of some.

Third and long defense sucked for much of the game, the only real negative from that unit. Can't let teams off the hook when you get them where you want them.

I'm interested in the third turnover because apparently Morse said it was on himself and not Allen.  (going by a reply on that tweet but the play looked like Morse was getting pushed before the ball even got to Allen).

And I know Joe B doesn't like Allen which makes me skeptical.

All true professionals are going to (at least in public) take responsibility for errors. I don't know what really happened. But, I am glad to see Morse taking ownership. I imagine Allen (haven't heard his comments on it) is too. Good teammates.

If Josh Allen was Nathan Peterman, he'd be yanked at halftime of this game. Another tipped pass. Another turnover. Bills defense doesn't need much from the other side of the ball … but needs a lot more than this

This. Is. Awesome.

Yes! We could hear the cheering clearly on tv here in Florida. The Mafia has grown! Even Sean acknowledges the fans who traveled.

i thought so too.  it was surprisingly loud whenever the bills had a positive play.

Before the draft I wanted Darnold over Allen.

Please let me eat crow Josh.   Please.  I will repent for my blasphemous ways.

I think they both have a lot of potential. I do think after seeing one game (admittedly it is early in the relationship) that Gase may neuter Darnold with his playcalling

What he is saying is true, but cause he is Allen is the saviour and franchise, its ok.

Cause Bills fans want to BILLieve so bad in Allen, you overlook how bad his first half was. It was Peterman level bad.

The take is meant to be “hot” but in reality it’s just moot. He’s not Nathan Peterman, who was a 6th round draft pick with a low ceiling. That’s why he wasn’t yanked, Jason.

Except for the whole being able to move the ball part outside of the turnovers, sure, I guess.

It’s ‘true’ that they should have taken their first round 2nd year QB out of the game after a rough first half? LOL
