Sign me up for this.

If Bridgewater renegs on the deal that might open up some money. Though they'll have to look for another backup.

We have the money to give Ansah a deal. Beane has gotten creative with a few of his deals so I'd expect the same here.

OK.......If Bridgewater is not signed how does he count against their cap?

Personally, I'd prefer Justin Houston.  Houston is 30, and still playing at a very high level.  I believe his ask is likely much higher than Ansah's, as it should be.

I swear to god Estro, you're reading my mind hahaha   ?

If we lock Ansah into a 2 yr contract constructed similarly to Ty Nsekhe's, except for more $, I wonder if we would have enough left over to sign Justin Houston as well...

That + Wilkins/Oliver would make the Bills' pass rush absolutely stacked

The weather gods seemed to smile on Buffalo for this week of FA visits with the higher temps. Rain tomorrow though.

At least it’s not Denver - has anyone seen Ben Allbright’s Twitter?

Rain tomorrow but 60 degrees too...

Hey I am just a Bill's fan who works at the airport. I'm not John Ledyard or LaCanfora. I just like to contribute where I can.

He literally said he makes too much money to take a picture? Those were his words?

That's tough to believe. I followed him at BYU. He was always a pretty humble guy with a humble backstory.

Those were his words. It was one of those things where you just stood there waiting for a punchline. I have been a fan of his since BYU as well. Him and Kyle Van Noy. If we sign him fine. I meet so many people who are not what they seem, their personal lives dont matter at all. It's all about what you do on the field.

sorry if duplicated

Mike Rodak   ESPN Staff Writer

Free agent defensive end Ziggy Ansah will visit the Bills first before visiting New Orleans, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

If Buffalo signs Ansah, it would likely signal some sort of other move at defensive end. Jerry Hughes enters the final season of his contract, as does 2016 first-round pick Shaq Lawson -- whose fifth-year option decision for 2020 is due by May.

There is also Trent Murphy, who will count $8.7 million against the Bills' salary cap this season.

They are hosting Jared Cook. Not sure If they can afford Cook and Ansah, even with the restructure.

From what I've heard the restructure freed up $10.8M, giving them somewhere between $16-18M in room. They also need to sign their draft picks with that (although they don't have a 1 this year).

Unless they both take a serious "contender" discount, it's doubtful they could afford Ansah AND Cook.

So I guess we root for Cook to sign in New Orleans.

I monitor what other teams' fans thinks of players when making up my mind on what I'd like to see happen. On top of the analysts, stats and my own observations, of course. The fact that we have signed several other teams' fan favorites is really encouraging to me. The Lions fans think Ansah is a waste of money because he's always hurt. I will be completely fine if he doesn't sign here.

If the sign Ansah, who goes? Lawson or Murphy?

Keep all of them.

- We have over $40 million in cap space.

- Both Murphy and Ansah have a history of injury problems.

- Hughes is a free agent next year, and Lawson might be if we don't activate his 5th year option.

The best thing for a D-Line is a strong rotation, always keeping guys fresh and adjusting to the offense.  Having four strong DEs and four strong DTs would be a fantastic help to our defense.

If he is signed, wonder if bills are considering a Stampede Rush (open to suggestions here) of all DEs on obvious passing downs.

Ziggy / Shaq / Murphy / Jerry  or Ziggy / Zo / Murphy / Jerry.  Could cause protection issues for most OLs

Per one poster, he arrived in Buffalo and was a dick at the airport. If that's the case, then I presume by now he's at OBD.

Wonder if they brought Ralph's old Taurus out of retirement to try and seal the deal?

People though NOLA couldn't sign Jairus Byrd.  They had no cap room then.

Damn, i was trying to remember who that was..thank you!

Murphy IMO (if anyone). Was outplayed by Shaq and injured again.

Still my one really big criticism of McDermott. Getting absolutely blasted by the Colts, and with 5 minutes to go in game still had his defensive starters out there, and Murphy in particular coming off the kneee injury and struggling with groin problems..and Murphy gets hurt with about 3 minutes to go in that game. Football coaches can be real stubborn sometimes.
