Looking at the highlights Adonai reminds me of Diggs, his play and attitude. McConkey reminds me of Beasley but outside play ability as well, not sure of the attitude problems though. With that said I'm leaning more to McConk but wouldn't mind Adonai if he could step up

Now, if we somehow ended up with DeJean, Coleman, AND Franklin then that changes everything.

He had an insane catch rate, on passes deemed catch-able, and has some of the strongest hands in draft.

 

KB is a horrible comparison, that ppl make.  KB was a very good receiver his first 2 years, then got lazy.  

 

Keon is the opposite of lazy, and has the attitude Beane/Coach likes.  His forty was bad, but his gauntlet and other explosion drills were very good.

 

I could see using him on all 3 levels of the passing game and is a solid blocker and major redzone threat

Prefer Coleman but if they think anything of Shorter they may shoot for the fences with Mitchell or Franklin who offer different skillset.  Think another trade down is a big possibility

Absolutely no to Adonai Mitchell.  If he has character and health issues he’s starting behind the 8 ball already.  We don’t need an adult who can’t take care of himself and takes plays off.

Honestly, there are lot of excellent players left and I am OK with the Bills taking any of them, or trading back yet again and picking up one or more of them later.
 

From this list and based on the Bills' biggest needs, I like Franklin and DeJean the best.

Had wanted Mitchell but today heard he had type one diabetes, so Dejean.  We are too weak at safety now, which has been a strength of this team since Poyer and Hyde.  Need to bolster that considerably, and before the season.

 

But want a wideout like Franklin, even if Beane needs to move up in round two.

 

I think these two things may happen. But I also would not mind a new center such as Johnson Powers-Johnson.

 

If the Bills can get these three players, or something similar, then they would go a long way in addressing team needs.  If they can do it on Friday, in one night, that would be even better.  (The next pick should then be the best running back available, a big, fast bruiser who can catch the ball too.)

Could be WR Coleman. If you think about it Bills red zone has struggled a bit. He’s a jump ball specialist and plays faster than 40 time. Just a thought and I know people will flip but it’s a distinct possibility. Either WR trade with 49ers not looking likely.

Its all about asset management.  If there is a sure thing WR or Edge, you draft that player, and assume you lose him after five years, total win for the drafting team. 
If there is no surefire edge or WR, you move onto to a position where you will be able to afford the second contract, and if the player hits, you actually want for 10 years. That is Jackson Powers in this draft.

Absolutely he’s talented BUT there are huge  red flags; bad attitude, ability to focus attention in meetings & manage his health (he’s an elite athlete) etc…. He’s a grown man, these traits don’t change easily….

 

Unfortunately he has added baggage and risk.  If we had a solid receiver group I might take a chance but with all our shortcomings @ wr he’s a tough take.

I was torn between DeJean and Mitchell.  DeJean because I think he's the BPA.  And Mitchell because he's the best wideout.  

 

But what the hell do I know?

 

Here's my unpopular take of the day.  Talent evaluation is hard.  Most fans don't know squat when it comes to evaluating college players and projecting their success in the NFL.  In fact, most media guys likewise don't know jack.  The draft grades they hand out rarely turn out to be accurate.   Even some GMs, despite all their experience, insider information, study, tape, and multi-million-dollar organizations, suck at talent evaluation.  I'm sure Matt Millen, for example, put in a lot of hours to achieve his miserable results.  

 

At this time of year, I take my opinions like I take everyone else's: with a large grain of salt.
