  1. Is there room for nuance? I think this move needed to happen. But I also think the dead money charge of $31.096 million next season (a record for a WR in any season) has to be a blemish on Beane's record. A minor one and one that needs to be taken in context of the totality of Diggs time here and the positives/production he brought. That said, I have been a proponent of a reset and believe Beane had some pills to swallow on this one, but I believe it was the correct move.
  2. reset almost complete. I'm good with this.
  3. The bills being called wise when bringing back players with repeat concussions? Maybe with other injuries. And maybe compared to other teams, the Bills are the most patient. But thats just saying they are slightly less evil than their counterparts. And wise? GTFOH. At least see what the league AND THIS TEAM is with clear eyes.
  4. FWIW, i think jay feely said on the broadcast that kickers in warmups struggled from that side at around 50 yards
  5. Its in that situation you need to know on 3rd down if we can run a non-negative yard play, we will go for it on 4th down. Too often we go deep and take a shot instead of trying to ground it out over 2 plays. With the weather and distance, a better play call by the coaches and/or decision by Josh is what is needed on 3rd down there, in my opinion. A minor gripe in a sea of positives, for sure. Go bills!!
  6. Rudolph doesn't get to 27 attempts in this weather, right?!
  7. It's gonna take a Super Bowl to get him on SNL right?
  8. "I'm not sure anybody wants really to play the Bills right now because they're not sure what they're going to get. They are hoping to get the inconsistent. If they get hot Josh Allen, look out," (Peyton) Manning said. https://www.si.com/nfl/2024/01/10/peyton-manning-josh-allen-bills-playoffs-super-bowl
  9. it sounds like I'm in the minority, I would not be scared of meathead in the AFCE.
  10. I billieve there's at least a 51% chance that one of Pittsburgh or Jacksonville loses. Either way we are winning.
  11. Again, I do not disagree. I wouldn't trade Josh for anything and think he is one of the best players in the league
  12. not disagreeing with those thoughts. All I was trying to say was he shouldn't be an MVP favorite.
  13. There's been too many games where I felt the defense actually did their part over the course of 4 quarters and the offense sputtered. I just don't think it's an MVP season by Josh. I still think he can win us a Super Bowl this year and yes, without him we would not be sniffing the playoffs. I also would wager Josh wins a couple of MVP's before its all said and done. Just not this year unless narrative season gets extra crazy. If you were to ask me who I'd promote, McCaffrey has my vote* *subject to change
  14. Maybe a silly thing to do, but when I remove all numbers from the equation (i know they are integral to the debate), take two giant steps back and think about the season to-date, I don't think Josh Allen has had an MVP season. To me it's a year in that someone like CMC or Tyreek Hill should win it. Their teams look very differently when they are not on the field.
  15. clearly you don't get it is the principle for him. we are good with spiting ourselves, knowing full well it will bring sadness. Sometimes you got to take a stand regardless of it having zero impact on any meaningful change. we gotta answer to ourselves.
  16. 1 option I believe would be to Sign up for NFL+ then cancel before free trial ends. assuming they still have a free trial. **might not be able to use your smart tv though as NFL + only works on certain devices.
  17. Are these 'Angels in the Outfield' rules?? Or can they help us in the championship too?
