I explained to the person that I'm an A+ Certified PC tech and that I've already done the basic troubleshooting process. His response: "Have you tried rebooting?" A similar thing happened when I called the power company to report an outage. I explained that I checked my service panel and no breakers were tripped, and all the houses in my neighborhood were dark, so it was more than just us. You guessed it!
