I prefer a good craft beer over UC, Bud, or (blasphemy, I know) Labatt's, but I can't stand all the exotic fruit-flavored beers or the uber-bitter IPAs. A nicely balanced pale ale is my favorite - you can taste the malt with just enough bitterness to offset the sweetness, with a little hop aroma and flavor as a finish.
