Mango
13 hours ago, HaldimandBills said: Short term this frightens me. Long Term the Jets and Dolphins are blowing their rebuild up and I love it. Bills might not finish 1st in the AFC East this year but will still make the playoffs and control the AFC East moving forward with Josh Allen. Thr Jets are hitching their wagon to a guy who is undecided on if he wants to play and who will be out of the league in 2 years. Just in time for when most of their starters on rookie deals start to get paid. Miami is blowing all their draft capital on vets who are on max contracts. They better hope they hit this year or next because Waddle and Tua contracts are coming and they have a lot of guys who are making big $$$. How do you restock the cupboard when you keep trading away high picks? I actually don't think the Jets are blowing anything. Low draft capital required. Low draft capital acquisition. When Rodgers is done they will have enough space to re-sign their own talent with a veteran roster and likely a rookie contract at QB. That is best case scenario. There is also another scenario where the Jets Jets this thing all up.

Logic
I predict Brett Favre on the Vikings part two. One really great, possibly even career year on his new team, followed by a sharp decline and a decision to retire. Bills fans can only hope that the bright lights of the New York are not a good match with Rodgers, who seems to have paper thin skin and a giant ego. Gregg
If Rodgers does go to the Jets let's hope, he keeps one streak going. He has never won a game in Buffalo. Granted he hasn't played in OP all that much, but it would still be nice if he remains winless there.

Maybe they had and it just wasn’t reported or disclosed. It’s hard to imagine that information being kept secret, however, given that most of the football world spent last week in Indianapolis. It’s possible he didn’t get permission, and that there was tampering. That would seem to be very unlikely, however, given the stiff punishment imposed on the Dolphins for tampering with Tom Brady and Sean Payton. Why would the Packers give Rodgers permission to seek a trade, when trading him is gonna cost them a small fortune in dead cap?
