As far as I know, that's up to the Bills and what seed the finish as.

Thanksgiving?

It’s a preset formula that projects out years in advance. It goes by order of finish within a division, not by team. The home/ away portion is predetermined. Starting in 2024 the Bills have a chance to host KC 3 straight years if they finish in the same slot.

Thanks bro.  Well, at first glances I can say that seems to be a pretty tough schedule... especially that away slate.  Jesus why does it seem like we play the Chiefs AWAY every single year?

Seems like we play at KC every year because we do play at KC every year…

The good thing is we play nine games at home.

Hopefully.

Season opener could be possible Super Bowl rematch if we end up playing Philly or Dallas in the Super Bowl. Don’t think we have to worry about Tampa winning it all this year. And that could work out either way depending if we won or lost the Super Bowl obviously.

Win Super Bowl open vs Cowboys

Lose Super Bowl open at Philly

Bills fans are gonna be mad but while 2023 is the last year of the road at odyssey at KC it is only year 2 of a 3 year stretch at Cincinnati.

We will be on the road at the AFC North winner again in 2024. It is the flip for having the home stretch we have had against Pittsburgh who have played in Buffalo 3 years running.

If the Chiefs and Bills both win their divisions in 2023 and 2024 then the Chiefs will play a 3 year stretch here in 24, 25 and 26.

Maybe what you’re hinting at but, if we win the Super Bowl (big if) then Cowboys at Bills will probably kick off the season.

The Chiefs have quite a soft home schedule. I presume the AFC North team they’re schedule to play is the Bengals so Bengals at Chiefs will kick off the season should the latter win it.

As for the “who gives a damn about Hamlin, just give us the win” lot, they’d probably send the Bills there on opening night, with the interest in the game. The only other real possibility at this stage is the Vikings.

Chargers - They’ve got the Bills, Chiefs and presumably Eagles or Cowboys at home so a selection there

Eagles - Home games against the Bills, presumably Bengals and 49ers so one of them

49ers - Cowboys or Bengals

Cowboys - Probably the worst selection of home games from an opening night point of view. Would they send the Giants there for ratings? If they win the division they’d get the Bengals which would obviously be interesting; otherwise it’ll presumably be the Ravens.

I think they’re the only teams who have a chance of winning the SB but a lot can change between now and mid February.

Back to Kansas City!  This is getting comical.  They should just rename the visitors locker room to Bills locker room.

2020 in Buffalo (reg season)

2020 @ KC (playoff)

2021 @ KC (reg season)

2021 @ KC (playoff)

2022 @ KC (reg season)

2022 @ neutral site (playoff)?

2023 @ KC (reg season)

KC, Cincy, Chargers, Eagles, Jets, Dolphins on road- super tough schedule!

Cowboys, Jacksonville, AFC east-

those are top 10 teams in NFL 2023 IMO

It is getting Comical! The league give everything to Mahomes & Andy Reed! Just listening to Raiders game yesterday I couldn’t take how Great Mahomes is whenever he completes a pass! It’s Turing quite honestly- had to mute volume!! Go Bills!

None of those road games look like especially appealing trips.  Washington might be fun, I guess.  Actually I could definitely talk my wife into that, depending on the date.

How come the stupid formula has us playing at KC and CIN all the time, instead of just scheduling us @LV every year?  I'd be willing to spot those guys home field.

The home Dallas, away Cinci, Chiefs, and Philly games have Monday and Sunday night written all over them. I feel like the Thanksgiving late game could be Buffalo Miami from Buffalo.

It feels like Tampa or the Giants have rarely ever played in Buffalo.

This scheduling template is nothing short of an embarrassment and a debacle. Uneven and unfair does not begin to describe it.

Easy solution:

- 18 game season, comprising of 10 in conference and 8 out of conference games

- 6 in-division games

- 4 in conference & out of division games rotating every 3 years

- 8 games from 2 out of conference divisions rotating every 2 years

Goodell - do something useful and fair for once in your corrupted and compromised life - make it happen!!

Yep, but with that being said I’m gonna guess we lose one of the home games to a game overseas.

As of now.

I agree we might have to go abroad. But we did give up a home game by going to Detroit (but we also lost an away game too at Cincy). So we had 7 home games, 8 road, and 1 neutral. I think there is a good chance the NFL feels sorry for us due to that and the whole Damar thing, that we get 9 true home games next year. Cincy too, since they had 7 home games and 9 road games this year.
