Yeah I think that's fair. Also think he won't be playing the same % of snaps he has the last few years. Should be selective in how we use him to hopefully get the most bang for our buck when it matters most. Eg. Regular season games vs the Jets there's really no reason for him to play >50% of the snaps. This is the situation where the DL rotation works most advantageous.

Yeah, I looked at his snap % and it hasn’t really dropped over his career, consistently 75-85%.

But the first game of the year isn't too bad, as there is no short week, and you get a long week after it. But yes, as a rule I like all games at 1PM Eastern IF they were all just randomly handed out. But since better teams get primetime games, I guess I'll happily get used to it. Then you have the potential SB hangover week 1 for the lambs.
DapperCam
Hopefully he can be a mentor and show the young pass rushers how it's done. iccrewman112
I’m worried about Von Miller and how he’ll fit into our d-line rotation. Historically he plays too many snaps. I have listed his snap percentage by year. Not sure how he will accept being only allowed to play 48% of snaps per game. 90% 84% 84% 76% 81% 86% 78% 84% 76% 79%
MTBill
We got the worst 13 seconds in FB history, and applied Newton's 3rd law. For every failure to stop the Chiefs, there is a Von Miller to make those stops. Given all the crazy QBs in the AFC, this is amazing. How do you fund a stadium? Sign a superstar on the D to go with Josh Allen. Oh, and get him OJ, not that OJ. What a wild, amazing, day. Go Bills!

I think Miller will be in the high 60% of snap counts.

He also flushed them directly into sacks by other players numerous times as well

Most of the time when players sign big, long term deals like this, they never see the entire thing. As details come out, we find that this contract has $32M guaranteed at signing, and a total $52M guaranteed (of the so called "$120M"). So if we break it down, it turns out we can get out of the contract after 3 or 4 years. It's essentially a 3 year/$52M contract, or 4 year/$70M contract. $17M/yr for a premier pass rusher is about right. Agent 91
My question, why are voidable years a bargaining chip now?
