Favorite Bills Quarterbacks?

Jackey French Kemp #15 has been and always will be my favorite Buffalo Bills Quarterback of all time.  He knew how to direct that offense, the line, and command respect.  I still view him as a future hall of famer and he should be in.  The back to back AFL Championship wins cemented his legacy and he was a guy who could get it done with a spirit most would've said he was just a camp arm.

Josh Allen...will reverse if Josh actually wins a SB

Dougie Fresh!

How dare you vomit on the Chroisen one. A pox on your house.

And Flutie was a locker room dividing, egotistical, credit stealing, blame shifting little PO💩.

Drew Bledsoe.

Oh hell, that's Elway's picture.  But Bledsoe ran like Frankenstein's monster.

No, that's Drew.

This is Elway:

Allen is easy to say as recent memory is usually the most vivid, so I would go with him.

I don't know why but I just don't have the draw to Kelly that most bills fans do. As a teenage I had season tickets from the time he got here all the way through the superbowl years. Wouldn't miss a game, loved the Bills. Yet when I think about that Bills offense, I think first of Thurman, 2nd of the no-huddle scheme, and Kelly comes in after that along with Reed.

I don't have a dislike for Kelly, not at all, but I thought the Bills success was more of Kelly being an very-good-to-excellent QB and a 'good fit' rather than him being super elite.

The question said favorite, not best, so ...

1. Dennis Shaw. Believe it or not, my first football hero.  I think that had more to do with being in Buffalo than anything else, but still ...

2. Josh Allen. No justification needed.

3. Ryan Fitzpatrick. Should be Kelly, but Fitzy was always exciting. Even when it was a bad kind of exciting.

The most impressive thing about Kelly was his ability to keep defenses off balance. He was calling his own plays in an era where that was not a thing. He was the epitome of a "field general". Thurman may have been the heart of that offense, but Kelly was the brain. Throw in the fact he was tough as nails and was the ultimate competitor and he just fit the city. He knew what he had in Thurman, and he wanted to win more than he wanted the numbers. I can't imagine Marino, for example, being as selfless in a similar situation.
