RyanC883
Saw this idea on Reddit, but if Knox keeps this up, we will have to make apology forms for him as well! Man is he busting out in year 3. 2 2

NewEra
He’s been great- everything we were hoping that we were getting when we drafted him- The coaching staff has been utilizing him more and putting him in position to succeed. whorlnut
How can anyone apologize for being critical of a tight end that couldn’t catch consistently? It was completely warranted. That said…he’s playing very well and I’m happy to see it. 2 2 5
BigBuff423
I've said this for years, but many people don't realize that the very best TEs typically are Drafted in the middle rounds AND take 2-3 years to hit their potential. Historically, except for Tony Gonzalez and Rob Gronkowski, the best TEs are in the 3rd / 4th Rounds and it's year 3 when production really takes off. Kelce is another anomaly where his second year he produced and obviously hasn't stopped since then. However, we all need to remember that players take time to develop. Knox was a similar prospect in fitting a certain prototype the Bills like: very athletic with huge potential and a dominating love for the game and improvement. Knox was not used often at Ole Miss but his athleticism stood out and the Bills believed in their ability to coach him and his ability to be committed to getting better. Sometimes, as fans we're our own worst enemy...this Front Office and coaching staff have proven they can find talent and develop them. We just need to trust them and yes, the process. GunnerBill
I don't need to sign the Knox apology form. I always said he is raw and underdeveloped but we have to be patient because if it clicks the traits are off the charts. Does anyone have an "Emmanuel Sanders is washed up" apology form though? Because I think I need to submit one of those. 10 3 8
ArdmoreRyno
I've been a huge fan of Dawson since he blew me away when he ran over half Cincy's defense a couple of years ago. I got RIPPED on the Bills FB pages for saying he can be a beast if we give him time. He's at least a beast on my Madden' team.

Allen overthrew him in Game 1 and everyone was saying that means Sanders is done.

Jumpsuit Jim
He’s doing the flashy catching touchdowns stuff, but he also comes in tight and bangs with the d-line. I love complete tight ends (take that phrase how you will)
Rc2catch
This is why fans don’t run teams. We would of cut Bass after two games last year. Would of traded Knox for a bag of footballs because hollister was clearly the better option. Edmunds clearly has to go and is replacement level. Oliver never makes plays. Levi can’t cover anything. Star has no impact on the defense cause anyone can just take up space. Patience is so important, players CAN elevate their play. Knox has been a huge mismatch from the day he was drafted. And the coaches stuck with him and it’s beginning to pay off bigtime for this team. I can happily say I don’t need any forms cause I’ve never had a problem supporting his play and was willing to take the drops due to what a huge mismatch he presents to opposing defenses 11 1
Straight Hucklebuck
Honestly I never had the drop thing that so many fans had. I just think that historically, the Buffalo Bills have never shown they value the position. They have not invested in it or incorporated it in the game plan, until now. I bemoaned more of their forever view, that we needed slow Tight Ends that specialized in blocking. When Knox ran a 4.59 at his Pro Day at 6'4", you knew he had athletic ability.

DCofNC
The only difference in Knox this year is he’s catching the ball. Now that’s the only thing he had trouble with before, so that’s pretty damn big. He’s a great athlete. A really good blocker. Now he’s actually making teams worry about him when he’s being thrown to. I’m so happy he finally got it together. He’s good, hope he takes the next step to greatness.
Mat68
He is the key in these kind of games. Teams are looking at Diggs and Beasley as the guys they want to take a way. Knox will get favorable matchups. He is leading in Tds for a Te. The Bills are a problem. Running the ball and spreading the targets around makes Buffalo nearly impossible to stop. 2

I'm actually more impressed with Knox improvement in blocking. It doesn't show on the stat sheet but he no longer looks "lost in space".

Josh just consistently turned his nose up at them and teams knew it. Knox wasn't physical enough to get separation on deeper routes. I gotta watch it again, but this game looked like Josh's "coming out party" on taking the hot read/checkdown AND on hitting the deep pass successfully. I didn't just love that we won, I loved HOW we won, and you're right - another game or two like this on tape and the WR will find that their lives have become easier. 1

Oh, agreed - I'm definitely talking about 2021. Now that Knox has developed into that guy, he's simply benefitting from what Kelce (Hill) has. For me, Kelce is his comp. They have similar playing styles, albeit Kelce with much more experience and nuance in his route running from that experience. Kelce, ultra-athletic 6'5 260. Knox, ultra-athletic 6'4 255.
