Rc2catch
I haven’t been back to New York in like ten years. Mighty taco.. Pizza and of course wings, chicken fingers or steak and cheese subs, things that I just cannot get in my area of Tennessee. Well you can get them but they’re terrible. Lol they like to bake all their wings here. It’s mushy and gross 🤮🤮 Edited August 12, 2021 by Rc2catch

Secondly, i think of that trip often and each time I think of how weird it was that you elected to sleep on the couch and not the guest bedroom. Returntoglory
IMHO, I have been to LA and Cali many times over the years in a previous life and In N Out burgers are amazing! But in a pinch if In N Out are unobtainable, I'd go with Shake Shack! Lived in Manhattan for 8 years and their burgers and food are excellent! https://www.shakeshack.com/

That being said straight burger for burger In-N-Out hands down for me. No spread, whole grilled onions, fried mustard, and chopped chilies. Just let the flavor soak in. I used to despise their fries but now I can’t stop eating those either. They must use cocaine or something. Good lord I know what I’m eating for my next meal. hmsmystic
Let me confirm this as a native western NYer who has moved out West. In and Out Burger is fine. But the burgers (and Pizza and wings and subs) are so much better back in WNY that it's not worth even thinking about. Can't tell you how much I miss a good Bill Gray's burger!

billsfan89
The reason In N Out is mostly in the West Coast is due to quality control as they don’t want to have their meat (which is supplied in the Western part of the USA) frozen for too long. CA OC Bills Fan
As someone already pointed out, In N Out is not a franchised business, all family owned. They've had many offers to franchise, have always refused. If they do eventually franchise, expect the quality to go way down. To someone else's question, are they much better than Five Guys, YES, absolutely! In N Out is great. I think In N Out being in Western NY is about as likely as Wegmans coming to California. May eventually happen, but don't hold your breath. Going national is obviously not impossible as many companies do it, but certainly is a huge change in logistics. 3

muppy
I'll put this to bed. I live in a locale that has In n Out Burger. To my knowledge there isn't any fast food burger that comes close to it as far as taste. EXEMPLERARY Burger. Extra grilled onions, can make a double double with veg only for vegetarians, they are fresh, hot and tasty always. I don't know if they will expand away from the west. SoCal can have its burgers WNY has far better pizza and wings plus Italian food Shut the front door WNY wins the food war it isnt even close.
