Why would any of the good coaching candidates want to go to the Lions?? They have to take what they can get. We experienced this in the lean years. 1

They get someone who’s been learning under Peyton, an offensive guy that can help get things turned around in Detroit and best of all it’s not someone from the Bills staff. It all will come down to how much the players buy in regarding what he is telling them and if he is able to get the people who won't buy in off the team. And that is before even coaching comes into play. Edited January 18, 2021 by Big Turk
