LAME, I mean it was barely even a hit let along fine worthy...how about the head shot Allen took but wasnt called...FAR FAR more egregious. So now...moderately bumping..as thats all it was a moderate bump..is fine worthy..almost ..and i hate to say this..but almost wish Ford had LAID HIM OUT COLD..at least them it would be worth a fine..but that moderate bump

I can only imagine what they would have fined him if the guy he hit wasn't actually looking at Ford when he hit him ?

This could have been considered a legal blind side block or a not paying attention side block cause from what i remember watching it it was a BS call so that would make it a BS fine !!

Have to keep up the illusion.  Meanwhile will any of the helmet-to-helmet hit to, or Watt landing on top of, Josh be fined?  Doubtful.

100% this. The NFL is in full CYA mode because it was a BS call and they know it. Of course they missed the head shot Josh took on the same play which would have offset it at a minimum.

Yep they are doubling down on the call to prove they were right. Because they think we are all stupid.

The NFL just doubles down on stupid.

***** idiots think fining the player makes a horrible call somehow right... send the guy who went to confront Jerry Coleman to Park Avenue instead...a better use of a wasted airfare.  Meanwhile a helmet to helmet hit on our QB goes uncalled and un-fined.

Was thinking the exact same thing. Turned their heads to those helmet to helmet hits that the NFL made a prime focus on safety. This is just....wow

NFL fines are a joke no wonder players try to get as much money as they can out of the teams. You tell me how that is a Blind Side  block when both players are face to face Clowney gets no fine for knocking Wentz out of the game.

Can the team pay the fine for him, and send the league that denomination in pennies?

Seriously, **** the NFL

I would not be at all surprised if teams are paying players fines, or reimbursing them it some way or another,

WTF! YO!!!!!!!!!!

Once was bad enough but to keep doing it over and over is most likely criminal. -)

That is unbelievable. Gronk elevator-drop elbow-smashed Tre's head well after the play and got no fine. This is absolutely ridiculous, he barely even hit the guy.

He got suspended for a game. Meaning he missed 1/16th of his salary.

Jesus Christ this board kills me with how uninformed people are

This is really unreal. What if this had been your classic blindside? What would the fine be?

it’s a negotiated tiered system in the CBA. I don’t recall first, second offense etc... but outside of egregious hits it tends to just follow that system
