dave mcbride Posted January 1, 2020 Share Posted January 1, 2020 (edited) White was called twice for defensive holding while covering Hopkins in that game. Hopkins had 2 catches for 27 yards and a TD vs White in that game. The other three receptions weren’t against White. It’s also worth pointing out that the coverage was excellent on the TD (just look at the photo). A great player simply made a great play. If Watson has time; it could be a long day for Tre. Seems like good natured ribbing between an LSU guy and a Clemson guy. It's going to be an outstanding matchup to watch, although I'm not gonna be in normal "spectator" mode for a playoff game. Probably enjoy replays of the matchup quite a bit more if the Bills win. As NewEra pointed out, the key (as it usually is against good QB's) is to get in Watson's face as often as possible.
