  1. Kardarius Toney cannot let it go...... Not that I thought he was Rhodes Scholar, but I do hope is stupid continued whining gets him a fine as well (Assuming Kermit and the Hamburgler get there deserved fines).
  2. Chiefs and Panthers swapped 7th rounders in 2025, just really an accounting item because you cannot trade for nothing.
  3. And even after last night, Tampa has to be the favorites to win the division? Maybe Atlanta? If Tampa does with the division, will Tom still be playing next year? I think it would be cathartic for the Bills to face him, and beat him badly in western new york.
  4. Not at all worried about Tua, but then again I never have been. The Dolphins walking away with a win yesterday was a bit of dumb luck, 4 times Tua hit defenders in the numbers and they dropped all 4 of them. And then Kenny threw 3, that 7 interception delta doomed the Steelers and they were still in it till they end (and the last interception).
  5. How about Seattle, the NFC is a bit of a tire fire at the moment so it is anyone's division to claim, throw is the cosmic beauty of Seattle getting into the dance while Denver sits at home.....
  6. Well then I'm glad there wasn't enough time, Anderson might be talented, but he is not worth the headache he brings where ever he goes. I think he is a perfect fit with Kyler, two guys that have all the skills and none of the work ethic, may they both enjoy playing call of duty together when they miss the playoffs.
  7. "fans" leaving with a tied game..... Wtf this is a train wreck
  8. May the Mac Jones memes live longer than his career.
  9. Having been on a few racetacks (VIR / CMP / Road Atlanta / Watkins Glen) in modern Porsches, I'd say the reputation of 911's being widow makers should have died when they changed the suspension to a multi-link design vs the trailing arm suspension used previously. That was the 993 generation, and each successive generation has gotten more and more predictable and safe. Now when you speed on roads beyond the safe limit of their design and your skill it will end the same way if you are in a Porsche or any other car. Porsche, for the 911, has found a way through engineering to deliver a very stable car, even with the engine and all that weight sitting behind the rear wheels.
  10. It isn't the Dolphins pressure as much as it is the inability for Cinci to keep Joe upright. 15 sacks so far this year out of 135 pass attempts (or something close to that). That said, I do think the Dolphins will give up a ton of yards (again) and I do see them loosing on Thursday night.
  11. Assuming they don't rip up Burrow first, I don't think he makes it to the end of the season at the rate he is getting sacked.
  12. Wouldn't a turn over, regardless of who it is caused by, often be worse than a punt? Even with 4 turnovers, I think our offense has the belief that they can always get a 1st down or a TD on any given play. Last year they punted 50 times, the Chiefs were lowest in the league at 38, I'm not a betting man but I'd take the under on the number of punts being under 38 for the year for our Bills.
  13. IMHO Colts got better with Ryan vs Wentz, and they were on the cusp of being in the playoffs last year, if I had to take a team to win that division it would be them. Ryan / Taylor / Pittman is a great group to start with on the offence, throw in some solid D and it could be a good squad in 2022. My way too early prediction for the playoff teams AFCE - Bills - Go Bills, look good on paper, now bring it home AFCN - Bengals - They got better, rookie QB deal is helping AFCS - Colts - See above AFCW - Chargers - Like the Benglas they got better, and I think the Chiefs lost too much WC1 - Broncos - RW will help them win the close games WC2 - Titans - Don't have faith in this call, they had a terrible margin of victory last year, but I think they are still good enough to get in WC3 -Ravens - Bounce back year as they stay healthy Most Improved - Texans getting DW out of the fold will help them in the short and long run
  14. My first reaction is to say that the Lions prove being bad and getting the first pick doesn't help the organization, but I don't think the Lions were trying to tank, I just think they have a dysfunctional organization and if you cannot win with Stafford, Johnson and Suh as three pillars of your team. But then giving it some more thought, and thinking about what happens to the W-L record of other teams that play the team tanking, I don't think a lottery is the worst idea. Sure you would still get some teams who tank, but it might be a bit more rare. Yes the Sabres show you can still tank in a lottery system draft, but when you draw number 2 in the McDavid draft it shows that it might not work. We can also throw out the fact that there have been a significant #1 overall picks at QB to lead teams to the Superbowl, this year a pair of them (and then Manning, Elway, Bledsoe, Aikman, Young, Plunkett, Bradshaw.....) so getting that number 1 pick can turn an organization around, and I think tanking shouldn't be rewarded with trips to the SB.
  15. Do fights with inanimate objects like walls, or doors count? Asking for a friend.
  16. Colts, at week 15 they were 80% (IIRC) into the playoffs, and even coming into week 18 they held their fate in their own hands, and they came up short. - From the Kyler Murray pick 6 last night my favorite comment was "What in the Carson Wentz was he thinking?" Then you have the Cowboys, they made the playoffs, but this was the year they needed to make a run because of how badly they have managed the cap. So it is a disappointment for how the year ended, but they get to deal with lingering disappointment as they try to figure out how to build a roster with the space they have left. Lastly, I am disappointed to see the #1 Chiefs troll back on the forum with his terrible takes.
  17. Jones certainly was one of the problems. Can, and should a rookie QB improve? Yes, for sure. But I think we saw a QB that is close to his ceiling in what Mac displayed this year. There are times QBs come out of college nearly fully developed in their skills, I think of all the highly touted USC QBs that turned into NFL busts. So maybe Mac was 95% of what he can be, so if he closes that last 5% gap where does that leave him vs the other 31 starters in the NFL?
  18. I think Mac's best days are essentially the same as we saw this year. His arm isn't going to get stronger, he isn't going to get faster, so what is the upside. This isn't to say that they don't stick with him, because I think they do, but saying the best years are ahead is a bit of reach, I think he is essentially as good as he will get.
  19. NFL / NFLPA moving to the new CDC guidelines of just 5 days quarantine. Or so were the reports that came out yesterday, so it he could be back sooner depending on when that gets adopted.
  20. I think they ran into a major reality check Saturday, his name was Jonathan Taylor.
  21. Really, all of our losses are on Josh? So in the Pats game you would have liked him to both throw and catch, because he was let down by his receivers big time. And in the Colts / Titans game you want him to play iron man football and help the defense stop the run? You said the poll was too simple, but blaming Josh's performances for all the losses is also an overly simplistic take.
  22. I like that these stats can be looked up easily, so I checked NE has 21 firsts downs by penalty this year, Buffalo 11. Just so we know that isn't an anomaly the 2009-Present stats go 375 for NE (most in the league) to 257 for Buffalo (3rd least in the league).
  23. I want the Giants to claim him, just to see OBJ Jr. and & Sr. throw some great twitter fits.
