Hm, I looked through that thread and really it's not bad.  Few Pats fans even saying not to underestimate us.  Sorry, I see nothing there to get upset over.

They logged in to a message board that talks about the most hated franchise in pro football.  It is the original sin that cannot be absolved or expunged.  They are therefore trash.  ?

Pretty typical stuff. I think they actually quoted me in there (I have said that they're not "all that" - I guess they missed that they played a 3rd stringer at home today).

I'm sure it would happen to any fanbase w/ that kind of success, but am I supposed to envy that?  That's some truly cartoonish arrogance going on there.  Even on twitter, the main chatter was that they should have won by more.

They will win, until they don't and without a quality qb in the wings the Pats may become a second tier team again for a while. If JA keeps improving, we may have a good QB for 10 or 20 years. That would be a nice change. For now the Pats are the Pats and our chances of winning this game and the division are miniscule, but TB wont play forever. It might be this week. It might be next year. It might be in 2, but our time is coming.

We can only hope they don't pull a Green Bay or San Francisco & follow up one HoF QB with another one immediately afterwards.

It just wouldn't be fair to follow up Brady with the next Steve Young or Aaron Rodgers, or even the next Andrew Luck.

Also, I'm shocked even ONE Pats fan said something like this:

"Until the Ravens game in Week 9, this is probably the only other game that I think there is a chance we lose. The Bills have been pretty good so far and we are short-handed."

That's a major improvement over most years. I don't see much in that thread to get upset about, mostly just them joking about Bills fans shenanigans (which everyone does).

The AFC champ this year is probably either the Patriots or the Chiefs.  I think there are some other good teams including the Bills, but no one in the class of those two.  Neither will go undefeated, I think, but they'll both win 12 or 13 games, and the top seed in the AFC playoffs will win the SB.

All that said, the Bills have a decent chance of winning next Sunday. They haven't played a complete game yet.  If they do it on Sunday, they could win.

As for the Pats fans, why bother getting into it with them?

Next week may be the biggest game in Buffalo in a very long time.

The buildup will be huge but I think the balloon will be deflated rather quickly after kickoff.  The Bills simply do not have the offense to hang with the Pats.

I live in Putriot's territory and they, like all of us fans, have blinders on. I pointed out to a friend (well he may not be anymore) that the Pat's run that pick play all the time and never get tagged by a penalty until way late in the game when it doesn't matter. His response was no they never run a pick play; well sure enough they got flagged (and the Steelers also) for a pick late in the game. He actually did acknowledge it after the game but of course used the "they did it too excuse."

I give Belicheat credit for doing it as he knows it works and they won't get called most of the time but it sure would be nice if the officials then allowed it both ways. I guess that's the real frustrating part of watching the Pats as the penalties come at rather strange times (or should i say opportune for the Pats) and of course the officials even them out toward the end of the game so it looks balanced. They have a great coach and QB so they really don't need the help; just not a good situation for the NFL.

Lol I wonder how many of those 'fans' were there before the first SB win, and how many of them will stick around when Belichick and Brady retire and they become just another team

You hit he nail on the head - whenever i talk to a Pat's fan 40 or over and ask how many games they attended when in Foxboro (and they weren't winning) the silence is deafening.

Blitz the hell out of #12. Hit him, take the 15 yards (you are going to get flagged anyway) and do it again all day. We might get lucky and hurt him. If not, see you week 16 Tom.

You put him on his ass early, bounce his head off of the turf, knock him out cold, then watch them crumble.

Pressure Brady and guard those quick, bs throws he makes. Our LB's are going to have to be on top of their game next Sunday. If Edelman is out that would be great for us. We need Singletary back though in a big way. I am not sure about Feliciano either, has there been any update? It would be nice to have him out there throwing Patsies around.

It’s easy to think you can win with Brady back there.  Until Brady retires the Pats will be Kong’s with the GOAT back there.

I won’t lament tho.  I could care less about the national media or what fans say.  Why do fans get so hoppy about it?  They didn’t do anything the team won and you watched.  Delusional to think you had something to do with it.

Dont let you emotions control you.  Just here patiently awaiting the game.

I haven’t looked at the Patriots forum.  Do they get to use naughty words like those poor folks over at the Jests forum?

I had a read of one today, the first one that came up in Google. I guess their arrogance is warranted because their team is so damn good, but they talk about the Bills basically being a piece of ***** they need to scrape off their shoe in order to get to 4-0. There are a couple of fans giving the Bills some respect.

I fully predict a Pats win because of the obvious reasons, but I will say they haven't been smacked in the mouth yet this season so if the Bills can do that, get to Brady (this is always key and we rarely manage it) and the crowd are into it, I do believe we could get an early lead.

The key then is how the team responds to that. You can totally imagine a scenario where we go up 7-0 or 10-0 early in the game only for Brady to march them down the field with ease and get a TD. If we do end up in that situation I hope the D plays with enough intensity that they could maybe generate a turnover in our territory and score another TD.

Big ifs of course, but I don't see us winning a close one. I could see it being close but with us on the losing end. I think the Bills should go for broke in this game. Just be aggressive early and take deep shots, try some stuff they haven't shown on film yet. Maybe try and get Knox involved early, Sweeney too for that matter, tell them that even if they only gain 7 yards to make the NE defenders feel it. Go old school on them and beat them up. Same thing on D, just pound the ***** every time they make a catch. Even if you get a couple of penalties.

Oh, and we need Singletary big time!

if Edelman doesnt play, the Bills can steal it.

My guess is they are going to limit him all week and lost him as doubtful and then likely start.

Not surprising these idiot fans think the 56-3 prediction was serious.  You should have seen some of the things they were saying to defend Brown on that board.  Scummiest bunch of scum that ever did scum.

They sober up around Wednesday to get ready for Thursday night.
