I think they actually quoted me in there (I have said that they're not "all that" - I guess they missed that they played a 3rd stringer at home today). I'm sure it would happen to any fanbase w/ that kind of success, but am I supposed to envy that? That's some truly cartoonish arrogance going on there. If JA keeps improving, we may have a good QB for 10 or 20 years. That would be a nice change. For now the Pats are the Pats and our chances of winning this game and the division are miniscule, but TB wont play forever. It might be this week. It might be next year. The Bills have been pretty good so far and we are short-handed." That's a major improvement over most years. I don't see much in that thread to get upset about, mostly just them joking about Bills fans shenanigans (which everyone does). I think there are some other good teams including the Bills, but no one in the class of those two. Neither will go undefeated, I think, but they'll both win 12 or 13 games, and the top seed in the AFC playoffs will win the SB. All that said, the Bills have a decent chance of winning next Sunday. They haven't played a complete game yet. If they do it on Sunday, they could win. As for the Pats fans, why bother getting into it with them? I pointed out to a friend (well he may not be anymore) that the Pat's run that pick play all the time and never get tagged by a penalty until way late in the game when it doesn't matter. His response was no they never run a pick play; well sure enough they got flagged (and the Steelers also) for a pick late in the game. He actually did acknowledge it after the game but of course used the "they did it too excuse." I give Belicheat credit for doing it as he knows it works and they won't get called most of the time but it sure would be nice if the officials then allowed it both ways. I guess that's the real frustrating part of watching the Pats as the penalties come at rather strange times (or should i say opportune for the Pats) and of course the officials even them out toward the end of the game so it looks balanced. I guess their arrogance is warranted because their team is so damn good, but they talk about the Bills basically being a piece of ***** they need to scrape off their shoe in order to get to 4-0. There are a couple of fans giving the Bills some respect. I fully predict a Pats win because of the obvious reasons, but I will say they haven't been smacked in the mouth yet this season so if the Bills can do that, get to Brady (this is always key and we rarely manage it) and the crowd are into it, I do believe we could get an early lead. The key then is how the team responds to that. You can totally imagine a scenario where we go up 7-0 or 10-0 early in the game only for Brady to march them down the field with ease and get a TD. Big ifs of course, but I don't see us winning a close one. I could see it being close but with us on the losing end. I think the Bills should go for broke in this game. Just be aggressive early and take deep shots, try some stuff they haven't shown on film yet. Maybe try and get Knox involved early, Sweeney too for that matter, tell them that even if they only gain 7 yards to make the NE defenders feel it. Go old school on them and beat them up. Same thing on D, just pound the ***** every time they make a catch. Even if you get a couple of penalties. Oh, and we need Singletary big time!
