On the Bills' first offensive snap Sunday...

What I'd like to see: Play-action pass to catch the D off guard.

What I expect to see: Hand-off to Shady up the middle for no gain.

I'm sensing a theme here.

I'm waiting for his prediction about Paxton Lynch on 3rd and long.

Subsequently beginning the Josh Allen era

Who survives until the second quarter, when the Logan Thomas era begins.

I have to believe they are scheming to provide a little more protection. Right? PLEASE???

...naked bootleg....Peterman scores on a 68 yard ramble.............

They are picky about how you wear your socks, so I’m sure THAT is a uniform violation!

If he does it I’ll chip in to pay his fine.

I remember the the legendary Frank Broyles(coachMizzou, AD Arkansas, legendary commentator) describe it as a “nekid .bootleg”.   When asked the difference between “naked and nekid” he replied, simply, “ naked is when you have no clothes on... nekid, you might have no clothes on , but you’re up to something.”

Lord, I miss color commentators like Frank.

That said , Bills score on their first play from scrimmage,

I really believe we will see more of the protections ans play that we saw in game 1 of the preseason. The other 3 were a disguise of the real thing. We will know by this timebon Sunday.

Everyone is acting like Baltimore is some badass team.

Last year, the Ravens were 9-7 and ranked 6th in points allowed (Bills were 18th) and 9th in points scored (Bills were 22nd).

In their home opener, they are surely badass enough to beat this Bills roster...

I've been saying this (to myself) forever.  That will stop the CB biting every time towards sideline passes.

If only we had knowledgeable professionals at the game, one's who could, I don't know, "coach" the players to do this.

While I agree, it’s hard to believe they would put them at risk like that in preseason. I bet AJ concurs.

Ha ha, I love it. Let's disguise our protections by not protecting our QBs!!

Image result for so crazy it just might work

1st play is an out pattern to Jones which will be picked off and returned for 6. Welcome to the Petersen area.

I don't know the location of this area or who this Petersen guy is, but where ever it is, I'll be screaming for McD to put Peterman in. I honestly think McD should be fired if he starts this guy off the street.

...I believe all of Bills Mafia will be holding their collective breaths.  I know I will be.  Even though I have no confidence in Peterman I also feel somewhat ashamed that I'm fearful of disaster when he takes the field.

If I step back and take a wider view Peterman starting is really a "no lose" situation and I understand why McD made that decision.  If Peterman plays well and the Bills are winning it's a fantastic story of redemption and perhaps Peterman becomes a trade chip.  If he doesn't play well or is injured, it's far easier for McD to go from Nate to Josh than vice-versa and the Allen Era begins.

I'm going to try and enjoy the ride.  Be ready for a huge exhale after that first pass attempt.

Was thinking the same thing earlier today.

Hopefully he can hold the fort and Josh gets caught up quickly

He won't have time to pump fake

Weren’t several Peterman picks against the Chargers following three step pump fakes? It was the pump fake that was intercepted as his body got rocked backwards. A jerky jerky thing that must have left some marks!
