DriveFor1Outta5
Whatcha talkin bout Willis? Wait, that’s Gary. On a serious note, I like the move. We needed to do something at that position. Coleman turning into a quality pro might be a long shot, but he has talent. Coleman certainly adds talent to what we went into training camp with. He definitely has more potential than most others in our receiver group.
JoeF
If Shefty hadn't specified it was a draft pick I would have been worried it was Benjamin after the stink eye McDermott gave him today... ? Don't !@#$ with Coach McD....

H2o
Coleman, if healthy, is an upgrade on talent alone. Hope he's healthy and stays that way. Read where he was having a hamstring issue supposedly. Hopefully he was just being held out of practice because they were trying to trade him.
Green Lightning
What the Hell. I like it. Beane is not napping and sees the hole we have at WR. Coleman is young, fast and has some talent.
JaCrispy
I don’t know much about this guy, but forgive me for being a little hesitant to get excited about a guy who was the Browns first round pick last year and they are already getting rid of him...so I guess my next question would be, what didn’t they like? thenorthremembers
He has talent, but honestly think he was over drafted to start with. Productive in college but he played in an offense with one of the most basic route trees going and he never had to block. Hopefully his limited time in Cleveland helped him learn alot because his speed is unreal.

Great, between that and Allen’s completion percentage, he’ll have 142 targets an 7 catches. just kidding. I love the move and just hope it is a 5th rounder or less. Love how Beane recognizes a weakness and addresses it! 1
whatdrought
I always think of him costing them a potential win in week 17 this past year by dropping the easist catch a professional receiver will ever have a chance at. that being said, if the price is right, it can’t hurt. anybody know if he’s a deep threat with straight line speed, or just quick?
Kirby Jackson
This receiving group has been awful since this time last year. This move is a big step towards improving it. I LOVE investing in talent. This is a guy that could blossom in this situation.

He was actually the Browns first pick in 2016. As I recall, he made a public statement, shortly after being drafted, that he wished the Steelers had taken him and he even directed that statement to the Steelers organization. Given the way the Browns QB situation has been over the last several years, it's hard to pass judgment on any of the WRs that they drafted at this point. H2o
My question is does this move Zay to the slot or is Coleman going to play the slot WR position? Me personally, I think having Corey on the outside across from Benjamin benefits he and Zay the most. We shall see. I think in a perfect situation (ie. everyone performs), Zay moves to the slot and KB + Coleman are the WRs.
