oldmanfan
Lombardi has failed several times as a front office guy with several teams. These kind of posts strike me as a guy trying desperately to claim some sort of relevance.
H2o
Basically it's just saying that a couple of teams have taken him off of their draft boards because of his injury history. Shocking, I know.

He's a Russell Wilson type of talent at QB, but he has an extensive injury history. Every report I have seen about his rechecks have been positive. Either way, injury history or not, you are taking a risk when you draft a QB early in the 1st. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it does not. Hate Lombardi or not, I mean, it's not that out of the realm of possibility. This is not a hot take type of headline.

SectionC3
I'm curious as to when those physicals were conducted. (Or, better put, if those physicals actually were conducted, given the pandemic.)

Instead they landed Dante Culpepper who he cut mid-season. 2

Yeah.. If the physical is about them being at 100% there's no way... I assume teams that are passing him are putting some threshold of where he's at now, vs. where he needs to be. Also, major question here- when were they doing physicals?

Belichick's record as far as drafting goes is not that great. Belichick is a great coach though and will make some mediocre QB look good (ex. Matt Cassell). I think Jake Fromm is more Belichick's style.
