Another Fan
For Bills territory I have in my head Buffalo (obviously), Rochester, Syracuse, and Ontario. Perhaps it’s another debate but Central NY like Binghamton/Utica I would tend to think leans toward the Jets/Giants? I like that this site gives perspectives locally for tailgating and such but you also hear from out of town fans like myself.
Logic
Nope. I was born and raised in Rochester, which would be a "Yes" in your poll. These days, though, I reside in Portland, Oregon. I see maybe one other Bills fan per month during the offseason.

Gugny
I live 5 hours east of Orchard Park and 3.5 hours north of NYC and Boston. Mostly Giants country. Some Jets and Pats (more Pats than Jets due to bandwagoners). After Josh Allen was drafted, I have noticed a lot more Bills hats, shirts, jerseys, license plate frames, etc. Looks like formerly ashamed Bills fans are starting to become proud again. Still outnumbered by Giants fans, though.
Chris from Rochester
I lived in Rochester all my life and that was definitely Bills territory, I'm in the Raleigh area now and although it's not Bills territory I see almost as much Bills gear worn day to day as I do Panthers 1
Say When...
nope - deep south Florida; although i will say in the 3 years i've lived here (moved here after 18 years in LA) i'm still trying to figure this fanbase out. I get it a lot of transplants and football recognition but i'm not sure 'fan' by its definition describes everyone. for the last 11 years, my best friend (Fins fan whole life, lives in Miami) and I have attended the Bills v Fins in miami, regardless of where i've lived, and it's not like any other football game i've attended (LOVE football in general, i'll go to a game just to be there, even if i don't like the teams playing), home games in Miami is almost like an event to congregate vs watch a football game. NoHuddleKelly12
Obviously had to answer as a “no” in metro Atl, but to be hyper technical, at my house on a half acre I’ve declared a sovereign Bills “fiefdom” where all who enter shall be forced to put up with seeing me wear nonstop Bills gear when I’m present, so...this was not an easy poll answer in retrospect? 8 3

Shaw66
I'm in Connecticut. Definitely not Bills' territory. Did you know that the Bills won't sell season tickets to purchasers outside "Bills' territory"? I think they won't sell to anyone who's address is more than 200 miles from Orchard Park, or something like that. If you call and ask for season tickets, they start by asking your zip code. Current season ticket holders are grandfathered.

Forward Progress
I am in Ontario, but much closer to Detroit than Buffalo. The fan base here is pretty diverse, with fans of the Lions, Packers, Steelers, 49ers, Patriots and Bills. There are not enough fans of any one team to dominate the region. To be fair, it was the marketing strategy of the Bills to play their games on Global TV (then CTV and City TV) every week, beginning in the late 90's that picked me up as a fan. Watching the same team, week after week sucked me in and now I'm obsessed with all things Bills related 365 days per year. My sons are also diehard fans of the Bills as well. I'm in St. Catharines over by the Niagara Falls border, and the spread is pretty much the same here excluding Detroit and San Fran. I would love for there to be more of a public Bills presence here including Bills Backers bars considering our proximity to Buffalo, but I guess football culture isn't as engrained here on this side of the border. I guess they can sel the tickets they way they want to. Yes, unless they've changed the policy. The theory is that the distant season-ticket holders aren't fans, they're investors. They're buying tickets to scalp on StubHub, etc. Bills don't want fans of visiting teams to have access to a lot of tickets. They figure that if someone local is buying the tickets, he's buying them to attend games. Plus, they want the tickets to sell to real fans when they get good. If a bunch of NYC guys own season tickets and the Bills and Jets are the two powers in the AFC East in five years, there will be tons of Jets fans at New Era for the Jets game. McBeane don't want that.
