Mango
8 minutes ago, Malazan said: They need to get some routes where he's throwing it quicker to take some heat off. This offense is too easy to defend and relies wholly on Josh doing something crazy. They also need another year like 2020 where they put in a LOT of offseason work with the QB/WRs so they learn to catch his passes which everyone says are harder than most QBs. There's blame on both sides for drops even if the ball looks catchable. It's insane that they have gone the whole year without someone being like, "we should figure out how to run a screen or quick slant" I’ll be curious what the A22 looks like. I watch most weeks and there’s often quick routes open underneath. But Josh keeps looking down field. It’s why the underneath looks so clunky sometimes. Guys are just waiting for it and flat footed. Josh’s ability and willingness to keep his eyes down field, and the consistency he makes low percentage throws compared to his peers is both a positive and negative for his game. When he’s on, we’re unstoppable. When he turns the ball over a few times and starts pressing, it makes everything so hard.

Boatdrinks
This game means nothing next week , whether you win by 3 or 23. This game was close due to turnovers and short fields that resulted Dorsey needs to give Josh some outlets to hit quickly underneath vs blitzes, I’m not sure either of Allen’s INTs were on him, have to take another look. But the Bills do struggle woth protection, and long term if you struggle with that, you turn the ball over For sure. The Bills haven't played a clean game in too long, as long as they keep winning imo it doesn't matter. The Bills are a gritty win at any cost team and it has shown through the current win streak. Anyone who thinks the Bills are an 'easy out' or will be a walk in the park are frankly idiots. They will be in the game with a chance to win until the very end regardless of circumstance.

I wouldn’t have been opposed telling the refs “when my guys see zeros they are firing off the ball. Make the call” if it was getting too far out of hand. that said, I suspect it felt worse to us than it was also how was that possibly such an issue all day? Just catastrophic. Tulsabillsfanz
I thought we lost the line of scrimmage battles both ways. I’d love to see stats on how long Thompson had to throw vs Josh. Miami’s d ends were constantly beating us. Buffalo’s d ends were rarely pressuring the Miami QB. If that happens next week, we’re out. 1
