I don't know about that. Why would a world class basketball player suddenly go play baseball? I think the NBA was scared all this would come out, nudged him to leave. People can have short memories, it's what the NBA banked on, and it worked.

It's pretty simple. The Browns were an up & coming team and they thought they were a playmaker or 2 from going all the way, so they brought in OBJ. OBJ never changed his ways from his NYG days. He didn't get the ball enough, blamed Mayfield ( like he did with Eli), and his dad made a video of all of Mayfield's " missed reads." Some guys stood up for Mayfield, some didn't. Mayfield, OBJ, & John Dorsey ( former GM) all sent away.

Correct. Mayfield admitted he wasn't the best team mate at times early on.

While that is certainly possible given their track record, it's also possible Sanders develops into a useful starter. Totally revamped offensive line, and they've got potential at the skill positions

Well I obviously didn't expand my opinion, the guy is a total POS. He screwed over St Louis for starters. Negotiated his deal with LA long before announcing the move ( with Goodell 's & Jerry Jones's blessing). Now he's suing to recoup costs. Sidenote: does anybody really care about European soccer?

Nope. They've got a good, young core. People ( understandably) rip on them, but remember they had the football with 3 minutes to go last year vs the Bills and could have won the game. They really aren't that bad, despite having a horrible owner.
