Helpmenow
He has a pretty good nose for the ball. He played in big games. I think he is PS all day Edited August 14, 2022 by Helpmenow
1ManRaid
We don't field many LBs, so PS it is for the rookie 7th rounder. 1 1

Someone has to take Smith's spot for 6 games. He's probably in the mix. 3 1

Mikie2times
He was an impact player in one of the better defenses in college football. Very workmen like, very football smart. Like most have said, I think we will do everything we can 3 3

atlbillsfan1975
Yes, he is replaces Tyler Matakevich next year on a much better salary. I think Spector plays the first 6 games this year for Smith and if he is doing well, the Bills have a tough decision to make. 3

Punching Bag
He is older (more mature) player who was a big college player for Clemson. For those who do not know Bills special teams player Andre Smith has been suspended for the first six games of the season.Smith was suspended six games for violating the league’s policy against performance-enhancing substances. He reminds me of A.J.Klein but a bit smaller. 13 minutes ago, Einstein said: He made more impact plays in one game than Edmunds has made in 4 seasons. JimmyNoodles
Played really well today, imo. All around the ball. How about Hodgins as the last WR? Thinking Crowder may be toast.
Utah John
Not playing any likely starters (except Elam) and still having the edge on the Colt's 1s is a really good sign. Most of the players who took advantage of today's opportunity to let the rest of the league see what they can do will still not get onto the Bills' roster, which is too deep, too stacked, and too good. Those guys are there now in case one of the Bills' 1s or 2s gets injured during preseason, and a lot of them will be on someone else's roster in September. Our cup runneth over. And it's great. 1
NickelCity
Liked what I saw. Coverage skills are lacking but we used to get some good play from Klein (especially when we let him hunt the backfield instead of dropping into coverage)

John from Riverside
We are an embarrassment of riches this year I think folks need to come to the realization that we’re going to lose players off of our special teams that can play
BigAl2526
I feel as if Tyler Matekevich is in the roster spot that would be occupied by Specter. Matekevich is on the Bills by virtue of his prowess as a special teams player, although he hasn't embarrassed himself when he's subbed for Edmunds. He just doesn't have the athleticism to be more than an occasional sub. Specter was on special teams tonight and made some plays. McDermott tends to trust his veterans all other things being equal, but Specter. being a 7th round draft pick has a really cheap contract, while Matekevich's contract is pricey for what he is. If Specter continues to play well, both on defense and special teams, the difference in contracts between the two players could make Beane and McDermott think long and hard about cutting Matekevich in favor of Specter. When Coach McD and Beane asked ST Coach what free agent he needed to help special teams he said Tyler Matekevich so they went and signed him/ That special teams coordnator is no longer with team so it may be a factor in him being cut BUT they had opprotunity to cut him when they were cutting other vets.

Buffalosouth
Can the 7th rounder beat out Matakevich? Does the preseason give him time to take his roster spot? Tune in preseason week 2 to find out.
davefan66
I feel LB is one of the positions draft status doesn’t count as much. A 7th rounder can certainly make the team if he plays well enough. I’d love this kid to take a bigger step next week and make it a very difficult decision for the coaches.
