The issue is would it be wise giving him the type of WR money we have seen being thrown out there this past week? There is no other reason to extend Diggs now. Poyer and Hyde outplayed their contracts and waited until a year before UFA to get extensions. The Bills have operated like this for the most part. He’s also not Tyreek Hill. If he wants money that doesn’t make sense for Beane/Buffalo, then he can go make it catching passes for a low/mid-level QB or rookie. It is what it is.
