THIS

Mahomes is great but Allen is clearly better.  Mahomes' stat sheet gets an insane number of yards after the catch from Hill.

Bills have receiver depth but noone remotely elite as either Hill or Kelce.  Diggs regressed and Beasely and Sanders are old.

Gabe Davis is easily their 2nd best WR - we could see that LAST season - but strangely the same coaching staff that can't run out 13s had him on the bench most of the year.

How on earth you can watch that game and try to give an allen is better than mahomes narrative is unreal. Allen is elite. Mahomes is elite, we couldn't touch him all night.

Something snapped inside Josh prior to the New England game and the start of this year's playoffs.

He was playing these 2 games with a focus and intensity I have not seen before.

And look at his production!

If Josh can hang around THIS level next season, we'll win 14 games.

And then mess up in the post season again.

Tell me about Epenesa, Rousseau and the Bills young edge rushers. They were drafted to pressure Mahomes and sadly they failed. The same scenario as last year with Hill running wild through our secondary and Kelce open with the game on the line.  We gave up 17pts a game in the regular season and 36 when it counted.

There is no silver lining.  You squandered a super bowl year with stupidity and ineptitude. You wasted him. It honestly doesn't matter if the Bills have Allen because Mcdermott will screw it up for good.

This WAS a super bowl year. Everything came up Buffalo and the coaching staff blew it.

I bet McDermott will be asked about that decision. I'm a novice in some aspects of the game so at the time I was thinking it would have eliminated their possibility of runnng it back....which would have used clock too...so a deep kick was a coaching miscue leaving them with more clock I get it now. Thanks man

Squib could’ve definitely backfired…you take more time off but they easily could’ve started at the 35-40 yard line and only needed one play to get in fg range

The offensive playcalling was abysmal. The running for long third downs. I don’t get it.

Yes too many possessions wasted on Daboll ball, once again he didn’t let Josh play his game and didn’t trust him to run his offense. He cost us pts and the defense let us down in the end. He didn’t let him go till he had too. This cost us a few games this year. I really hope both Coordinators go.

The only saving grace in my mind is that I have compared this to 1989 when the Bills won the division in a fashion below expectations and then lost in the Divisional round after losing in the Conference finals in 1988, only to rip off 4 straight Super Bowl appearances. Maybe that means the Super Bowl next year, but at the moment I think the Bills just blew a great opportunity not only to make the Super Bowl but win it easily.

Let's be clear who blew it...the coaches blew it

This game was over with 13 seconds left if they do their job

They very possibly cost us a championship tonight

I will never forgive them for it

In the 6 seconds they’d have had? Doubtful

Josh Allen played great. It’s easy to blame the d, but remember for like almost 3 qtrs the offense was uneven to say the least, and left the d on the field a ton. I mean the kc offesne was on the field Almost the entire 3rd quarter, and came back to bite us in the end.

also, I think the kc skill players are just a tab bit better than ours and have bigger game breaking ability.

They were on the field a ton because they could never stop KC on 3rd down.

They should have just held onto both hill and Kelce at the snap. 5 yard penalty or 15 yards still burns clock. At least would prevent them from getting into FG range

Exactly what I said. Knock the hell out of them for 2 plays and defend ONE 55 yard Hail Mary as a result of the PI!

Geez Louise... Jerry Sullivan should have saved his question for tonight!!

NEVER GONNA GET OVER THIS TURD D EFFORT AND HC MALFUNCTION!

A clear return to the SB to beat either LA or San Fran... BOTH inferior!

Wait just a goddam minute ..

Anyone who says Allen or the offense choked is a freaking moron .

The defense choked. Coaches on ST and D choked.

A choker is a guy like Rodgers who does close to  nothing. Allen threw 2 game winning TDs in under 2 minutes only to see his defense blow it twice!

Daboll did a good job tonight and is good as gone. Frazier I'm worried we might be stuck with.

The defense blew it 3 times in a row actually.  Two times at the end of regulation we had the game.  Then again in OT.

Pretty sure I explained it pretty clearly and you can't read, I guess?

Who do the Bills have that gets YAC like Hill?

Yup, your D gives up close to 600 yards of offense and allows a team to go from their 25 to your 32 in 13 seconds without a hail Mary even involved is a straight up undeniable 100 percent choke.

Is it too much to ask for a DL to get a sack when it matters?

Pass rush is non existent

It's coaching scared. Same as the punt on 4th and a foot. I hate it. Our kick coverage is very good and we keep players for their coverage ability.

It should have been obvious to kick it short there. There's 13 seconds left and they have three timeouts. You want to run as much clock as possible. Not help them by not running any clock. You take the risk with the return.

Agree. Doing that takes one play out of Mahomes hands. Instead of 13 seconds he might have 9 or 10 seconds. I was screaming to squib or short kick it. However, if they get a run back we all would be screaming we should have kicked it in the end zone. Bottom line is we lost. The game was epic and unbelieveable.

If we can’t win this game this year, with the way Allen just played..it’s just not going to happen.  This was our shot. 9 ***** months of sitting around now waiting for a chance to go back and probably not even play close to this well. The defensive scheme is a problem. It was a fight when I said it earlier because a few trash QBs ran up our rankings. Good QBs carve us up and stopping the run is an issue. Frazier has always been an issue and tonight 13 seconds wasn’t enough time to win a game. We won’t get a better shot then this. Just an absolutely franchise changing loss. If you can’t finish that game, I don’t know how you ever do.

This kind of a loss can be absolutely deflating to a team.  We'll see how they respond, but I feared this kind of thing from McDermott and company.

That too.  the wouda coulda shouldas will be in full bloom after this kind of game if for no other reason than to Process and frankly reflect on those things.
