I can't help but feel for guys like that.  It's a bit like Norwood - those "so close" moments that don't pan out.

I'm sure athletes are wired differently, but I'd be a mess w/ stuff like that.

I'll never forgive him or his team for what they did to me that night.

This Falcons team has no fight in them. Reminds me of mid 2000s Bills. Where the heck is Pitts? Guy was supposed to be the next Antonia Gates. He needs to be a better outlet for Matt Ryan from all the pressure he faces.

I think they’re doubling him up because who else does Atlanta have?

I hope really hope that stupid Jax game doesn't come back to bite us in the *** in the division race.

At this point, we still control that.

A strategy and implementation of a strategy are very different things. That being said, if they can keep Pitts and still have a chance at a decent QB, that is likely the preferred approach.

It’s an insane strategy and there is zero chance the Falcons would even consider it.  You don’t trade your most talented player on the second year of his rookie deal. Period.

Dude's on pace for ~75rec/1100+ yards in this dogcrap offense. That's a damn good rookie campaign. Plug him in here and he would be insane.

A tight end isn’t worth the forth pick in the draft especially when your qb is 35 and been crappy for 3 years despite having Julio Jones and Steven Ridley to throw to

Do I follow football?

We're both obviously watching an Atlanta Falcons game.

Voluntarily too, at least in my case and I assume yours as well.

LOL

Touche’.  But Ryan has produced a lot of passing offense consistently since the SB - >4000 yds passing, with enough passing yards and a good enough TD/INT ratio to win games if there’s a defense and a bit of a rush game.  2018 was a good year for him.  35 TD, 7 INT, >300 ypg

It’s just not true that he’s never been good since that SB

Geez, the receivers are having to fight and scrap just to get back to the LOS

The kid (Jones) is smart and accurate throwing 7 yard or less passes on most downs. Shows very little athleticism or improvisation ability. Large large gap between the Ceilings of guys like Allen , Mahomes and Herbert and guys like Jones, but with a really sound team around him they’ll be a pain to deal with still.

Maybe I'm too hard on him but it's mostly because that Super Bowl was my version of hell!

I agree and it's Calvin Ridley. But that doesn't mean he's the "product of ESPN."

Interception! You know what, I changed my mind. I said Leslie Frazier won't let Mac Jones have all those dinks and dunks. I was wrong. I think he will! We have the playmakers on defense to eventually capitalize on a tip or bad pass, and our offense isn't going to be utterly incompetent like the Falcons. This IS the way to beat the Pats.

Mac throws a nice floater. I say that with zero sarcastic. The problem is what happens when a DB thinks to step in front of it.

This is what I'm seeing too, I wonder if Chad Pennington is what Jones could/would be, though maybe Jones has too good of an arm for that comparison.

LOL Aikman on his script goes over the top praising Jones for a solid 17 yd pass over the middle leading his TE against trailing coverage, then Jones gets picked on the very next play.

Nobody ever expected the double crosser

The double crosser is actually a Daboll special and has been effective for us when executed correctly.

That execution was Not That Thing
