Popular Post Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 25, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted January 25, 2021 Usually after a loss, it is so easy for me to log on here and post about what went wrong and who is to blame but not tonight. Tonight, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to the Pegula’s. Thank you for hiring the right personnel to put this team in a position to be successful. Thank you to Brandon Beane for the amazing work he has done and the vision he has for this team. Thank you to Coach McDermott for changing the attitude and culture here for the better. Thank you to every player on the 53 as well as the PS. Thank you for playing your heart out and for playing for us, even when we couldn’t be there. Thank you because now, we no longer expect to lose. We no longer accept losing. We expect to win every week. It has taken so long for many of us to feel that way but year after year these past 3 years that is what you all have done. You have shown us that we deserve more. That we deserve a winning team here in Buffalo and for that, I couldn’t be more grateful. Even though we fell short tonight, the future is so bright. Just think about it, our Buffalo Bills were ONE win away from the Super Bowl. Not many of us expected that in September. I think this will only have a positive impact on us going forward. Our front office is starting to get the recognition they rightfully deserve, and I truly believe that we will now be an attractive destination for top tier free agent targets. The future is looking great guys. And guess what? This is only the beginning. I will forever love this team and I am so proud of them. Coaches let us down today but the talent level of KC is truly elite - best QB, WR, and TE in the NFL on one team just isn’t fair. This hurts but if nothing else going into this offseason we've gotten a good lesson on what we're gong to need to get past the gate keeper in the AFC. I know Beane is already thinking what he can do to get this team in a better position for next year Josh will be even hungrier and have this bitter playoff experience to fuel the fire. They played a top 5 strength of schedule and we were a Hail Mary away from finishing 16-3...That's really, really good.... They will be better next year. IMHO the deficiencies are pretty obvious. Failure all season long to fix these issues led to this loss. It wasn’t necessary. We’ll see if Bean can fix it. There are some good FA’s available and draft picks would immediately help. But overall it was a great year. It showed the bills are a great team, but they aren’t quite a SB team yet. Remember folks. KC lost in 2018 in Mahomes first AFC championship game..
