bills6969
More just the Jets offense blows and it’s easy to make adjustments against them. Also, pretty clear they were tanking this game. 1
1ManRaid
Did the Jets end up finishing with negative passing yards in the second half? Any time a D-lineman pulls in an INT you're doing something right.

Warcodered
I think the combination of the Jets getting healthy for this game and a switch in the playcalling gave the Jets an initial boost in the first half.
Sammy Watkins' Rib
Even in the first half the Jets probably only had two good drives? And those were early. Hard to tell with the defense since the Jets are so bad on that side of the ball. But can't complain about the second half performance.

I can imagine Gase giving them a dressing down at the half, telling them they were in danger of winning one

Brianmoorman4jesus
Looked like they turned up the blitzing considerably. Love to see it
BillsVet
McD blitzing more is him admitting the front 4 cannot get significant pressure. McD’s scheme needs front 4 to get pressure so QBs throw into his coverage. McD doesn’t have the horses to run his scheme after 4 off-seasons. And every one of those DL was signed in UFA, drafted, or extended by McBeane. Personnel evaluation showing some very weak points when it cannot support the HC’s scheme.
Rc2catch
The defense looked good in the second half. Not sure if it’s the Jets but Dane looked fantastic. And FINALLY the blitzes we’re getting home.

The Bills found a way to cover up for Edmonds being on the field. They brought a safety up close to the line and ran some zone blitzs and line stunts. Edmunds didn't make any plays, but he was no longer a liability...
Steptide
I think gase told his team at half time they were in danger of winning the game and losing the first overall pick, so to start playing like garbage again

buffaloboyinATL
I personally think they adjusted to the new OC. They were expecting Gase and took a bit to adjust to the new style. Best halftime adjustment by the D all year. Edited October 26, 2020 by buffaloboyinATL
