Watching the dolphins/Pats game during commercials of the bills game, and Fitz litterally looked like he was giving 50% effort. I don't blame him one bit, that team is a wreck. If I was him I'd gladly be on the sideline and let Rosen play

Just like Shady behind our OLine last year, except Fitz had to actually be on the field.

Fitz should never have been starting in the first place.  He's only taking any team so far.  Dolphins as an organization needs to see Rosen

play so they can plan for the future one way or another at that position.  That said, they can't measure Rosen by wins.  They have to measure

him by how he handles the meeting rooms, situations during games, etc.  They don't have the horses to get a lot of wins.

If the Dolphins had any pretentions of planning for the future in a way that involves seeing Rosen play, they shouldn’t have traded their starting LT

Breaking news... the eighth franchise that Ryan Fitzpatrick has played for is considering benching him as the other seven have.

Stay tuned, this may be a trend

He actually broke the trend.

He was suppose to be the backup until the starter got hurt.

Damn good point.  But they traded for him which tells me they want to take a flyer.  I guess I don't know what exactly they're trying to do.

You me and much of the rest of the league.  We understand tanking and holding a fire sale for draft picks.  But then why trade for Rosen, and at a point where he was likely gonna be cut and they could pick him up anyway?  And since they did trade for a 1st round QB at a bargain price, why not leave enough pieces around him to see what he’s got?

Fitz got jobbed.  Dolphins sold him a bill of goods, then tanked.  I feel bad for Fitz.

Nah, this was the plan all along. They're doing what the Bills did before the 2017 season, but to the fullest extent.

This is what I told my good Fins fan friend in February:

"Dolphins are a bottom 3 team this year. If they want to be good in 2-3 years, they need to get rid of older, overpaid, underperforming contracts, sign a bridge QB like Ryan Fitzpatrick (called that one easily), re-sign Howard, and suck it up for a year and get a top 3 pick".

They've done everything exactly the way I said they should, so at least they're tanking right... Only thing I didn't see coming was Rosen for a 2nd. I then said that Fitz will be benched by no later that week 6. I did say that they should strongly consider starting Rosen right out of the gate, because if they're going to suck, at least they can get as much film on Rosen as possible to see if he's at all worth building around. Then the preseason happened, and he still sucked.

The pick 6's today were hardly Fitz' fault, at least not the second one. That one was 100% on the receiver. Back up QB in Miami sounds like a pretty nice job. Great weather, great pay, no getting hurt. I hope Rosen plays against the Bills since I like Fitz and it will be easier to root against Rosen.

The guys gonna be thrown to the wolves on his second team and doesn't have a chance.

Of course he has a chance. Did you see what WR’s, TE and O line Josh Allen played with last year? LOL. He needs to step up and put his big boy pants on. No feeling sorry for this guy. Remember: He’s “the most NFL ready”.

Is this a "we are going to fire you before you quit on us" situation? I mean if anyone should be pulling the plug it should be Fitz pulling it on Miami. He doesn't need the crap they are offering.

Miami is an absolute mess right now.

Things are looking like they’re going to implode in Miami, maybe as soon as this week... it could get pretty ugly. 43-0 today. Yikes. Waiting to hear about more players asking for trades.

I would love to see the first group of players ever just boycott an entire game. Send a message to their owner about tanking.

I'm sure he wants to be playing somewhere, but if he's going to be a Dolphin, Fitz is better off riding the pine and collecting his checks. You don't want to be his age, getting beat to death, playing for a garbage team that has no chance of making the playoffs. If I were him, I'd just retire.

Nope, he needs some toughening up with his millennial attitude.

Fitz will be in Chicago by week 4.   Bears can't let this D go to waste with Mitchell being this *****.  He will lead them to playoffs.

Is he sucking again?

So glad we didn't draft Rosen, but to be honest I feel bad for the guy. How many QBs have had to prove themselves on the worst team in the nfl, then get traded to possibly the worst team in nfl history the next year?

The Cardinals being the “worst” team in the NFL may have something to do with who their starting QB was last year. Compare the O line, WR’s and TE’s for the Cards and Bills last year and you’ll see many similarities (in fact, the Cards have more returning players on offense than the Bills). Maybe, just maybe, your empathy is misplaced as Josh Allen had an equally bad offense but played the hand he was dealt. Rosen? I think he wanted a stacked deck and didn’t know how to succeed on his own. #mostNFLready

If they think Fitz is the problem, they are DEFINITELY going 0-16.

at least when the Browns went 0-16, they were remotely competitive in some games. The phish have been outscored 102-10. That puts them on track to be outscored, if you extrapolate it out, 816-80.

Yikes.

Fitz knew what he was getting into. Guy makes good money to take that beating and embarrassment.

With that said, Rosen is screwed if they put him out there with this team. His tape was bad on an epically bad cardinal team last year, now gonna put bad tape out for an epically bad dolphin team. Nobody will ever sign this guy. They should go back to the wildcat and let Kenyan drake run the team.

That'll fix it! Josh Rosen to the rescue!

They were talking on the saints game about Bridgewater being offered the starting job and saying, "No thanks" to be the backup for the Saints...smart move on his part

Until he has to play ?. Saints are completely average with Bridgewater at the helm.

Besides Josh and Dawkins (who had a down year) who do the Bills return as starters on offense? FB doesn’t count, IMO. Josh ALLEN had SQUAT to work with, and showed character while persevering. LOVE that guy! Rosen will only win you over if he wins playoff games for you.....otherwise.....meh......

This was exactly the situation that they envisioned when they brought in Rosen. His skill set is perfect for this. If you need your team to rally around a cause without completely corrupting them with the stench of the tank despite their own putrescence, if your QB is destined to get mercilessly pummeled it helps if he has the league’s most punchable face.
