MJS
Patriots have never been the same without Gronk. He always takes their offense to the next level. I'm very happy to hear he is retiring. You know the pats will be scrambling to replace him.

As far as walking away on top - he is currently on top and the Patriots have 6 picks in the first 3 rounds this year. Plenty of ammo to add to their lineup. Doc Brown
Should follow The Rock in making $hitty movies. I didn't hate him as much as the others until his dirty hit on T. White.

I thought of you specifically when I made that prediction. I see it coming THIS season, but only time will tell. You could make the argument that the 2019 playoff run was his MOST impressive considering his velocity was damn near Peterman level bad. I can only surmise that another year will lead to yet another drop; a drop he cannot afford. 5 minutes ago, klos63 said: is it possible for someones career to end 'fast and furious' after 19 seasons? White Linen
His body was clearly breaking down, so what does his wonderful coach do? Rides him and doubles down on his blocking responsibilities. They could have gotten another year or two out of him by making some adjustments but instead they take. I'm glad they did it and to see him go and he's definitely not my kind of person.

Nelius
Two predictions: we're going to become even more sick of Gronk now as he really grows into his role as America's big dumb guy. He's going to be everywhere. And the Pats won't win the division next year.

Really cheap shot. That's generally why everybody hates him. That and the pats thing. It shouldn't define his career or him as a person. He's a rampaging beast of a man on the field and let his emotions get the better of him. He's going into the half of Fame, should be first ballot imo. He's #3-5 all time solely because of the injuries. I put Tony G and Gates above him definitely, but if he had stayed healthy he'd almost certainly be #1.
