Way to early to tell! Rosen may pan out but our Josh has a great attitude and is a crazy good athlete to boot!

Our Josh also has off field intangibles.

He gives a very good interview to the press. He says the right things without lying or embellishing, and it's all about the team.

He also has that Baby Hughie look that makes it hard to dislike him.

Theyd be fools to give up on Rosen this early. He literally was surrounded by trash.

Future HOF Larry Fitzgerlad and All-Pro David Johnson are trash? Where can we find this type of "trash"??

I live in AZ and while I mostly follow the Bills, I see enough of the Cardinals to be able to agree with the fact that Rosen was surrounded by a pretty poor cast.  The Cardinals' O-Line makes the Bills' look like a wall of Pro Bowlers.  Fitzgerald is a great player, but well past his prime and Johnson is coming off of a serious injury and didn't have a very good year.  I was pro-Rosen pre-draft and think he'll turn out to be pretty good if the Cardinals can build around him, but I am now happy that the Bills decided to go with Allen.  I should add that the Cardinals' coaching was horrible.  They fired their OC mid-season and their head coach at the end of his one and only season with the team.  Not a pretty situation.  It's rare when another team is worse off and more dysfunctional than the Bills, but that is true of the 2018 Cardinals.

...and a "ringing "vote of confidence" from Cliff....interesting.....wonder if he changed now being the Top Dawg??.............

Kliff Kingsbury once said he’d draft Kyler Murray No. 1 overall. Good news, Kliff!

Kingsbury’s Cardinals own the top pick at the 2019 NFL Draft.

The graphic doesn't close the quotation! What was Kingsbury's next sentence, eh?

Josh is our guy........

But he's not "my guy"...

We wish him well with his future endeavors.....Kliff Kingsbury

Happy we got Allen and his style of play, but it's way too soon to give up on Rosen. It will be interesting to see where he goes or if Kliff keeps him?  And it wouldn't shock me to see NE work some trade to get him. Win or lose I see next year as Brady's last.

Don’t forget Christian Kirk

Kirk was drafted lower than Zay Jones.  Their talent level was pretty much on par with ours.

Its kinda amazing how much people are reaching with a quote of a college coach recruiting a high school players years ago.

Fitz is not Fitz and Johnson struggled to get back because of his knee and their trash oline. Just like McCoy.

Yeah, he had more weapons than Allen had. Bad offensive line, though.

Larry is done. I am his biggest fan. But watch the tape. He was bad last year. He is done and I hope he doesn't come back again. He doesn't need it.

Johnson can play still but their oline was even worse than ours at opening holes. He was stuffed as often as Shady.

Maybe not....but offensively as a hole the Cards had a lot better pieces to work with then we did.

No. No they didn't. The offenses were similarly talentless.

Our Josh did more with bad than Rosen did but they both had really bad supporting casts. The Cardinals had more drops and were right there with us in bottom 5 in receiver separation yardage both according to PFF who also ranked their offensive line 32nd out of 32.

I actually like that they did this too. Their offseason is dedicated to getting Josh better. They didn't let this nonsense linger out there they shut it down straight away. Kingsbury got this job based on them believing he was a fit with Josh Rosen. It was that above all else.

Based on what?

Looking at PFF grades, the skill positions look close but the Cards Oline broke the machine.

I agree. I wouldn’t say addressing Kingsbury’s comments was a necessity but I understand why they did it.

I liked Rosen and wouldn’t give up on him based on last season.

It is usually better not to announce who you are picking (or not picking) to have a better chance of someone trading with you.  Otherwise they will trade with the next guy. Now if someone wants Murray or Lock or Haskins or Jones, they don’t have to worry about #1.

Maybe the Cardinals have no interest in trading back? And frankly nobody was coming to #1 anyway when the first possible QB team was at #6.

they'd be fools to pass on Kyler Murray. if they are that convinced on Rosen though, you trade that pick.

Because of his size and skill set, if you draft Kyler Murray, you have to build your offense and develop your scheme around him.  If Josh Rosen is on your team, you might as well get rid of him because they are so different.  I can't imagine them giving up on Rosen so quickly, hence, I can't imagine them drafting Kyler Murray.  As for trading out of that spot, I'm not sure they would.  They have a chance to draft an elite game changing defensive player in the mold of a Von Miller or Kahlil Mack.  It would be different if they weren't in the top 3.
