It could have been a better throw but it was good enough to catch...

I think Allen could have stopped and set his feet and probably would have if he realized he had more time but in the heat of the moment its hard to process all that stuff...

Allen said postgane he didn't like the way it felt coming out of his hand and he also took responsibility on the Jones throw saying it was Cover 0 and Jones was 100% correct in continuing to run and he threw it as if he was going to sit down.

Just catch the ball. He could have rolled over into the endzone, there was no one near him. If it hits you in the hands you have to make that catch. Hell I would have been OK if he would have gotten up and walked around a bit before going in the endzone just to take some time off the clock. Not a great throw, but not an awful throw at all.

he didn't even have to score, he needed to catch the ball to convert 4th and 11.

You’re way too generous.  Look at the balls Thielen and Diggs and Nelson and Woods and so on routinely take home

Hmm? Thielen, Diggs, and Clay.  Yeah, he could have caught it and I wish Allen made it easier for him with a better ball.

guess gugny has decided everything is either black or white....its 1 persons fault only...oh well

No.  Gugny employs logic.  It was either a pass that should have been caught, or should not have.  It's as black and white as ebony and ivory.

Guys in this league need to do the incredible to win.  Even with Brady, it took an incredible catch by Edelman in the SB to beat the Falcons. Zay dropped a much more difficult catch.  Clay's catch was almost routine by NFL standards.  The throw was incredible.

Not voting for either. It was a bad pass, but it still should have been caught. Allen was under much more duress than Clay on that throw.

Edit: "bad pass", location-wise. It was amazing he got it there at all.

It hit him in the hands.  Where else should he have located it?

I voted for Clay....he had enough time and room (no-one was around him) to adjust to the ball...I was gonna go 95/5 ?
