  1. SDS is such a douche bag. I'd love to meet him in person and punch him in his stupid ***** face.
  2. One of the reasons the NFLPA is pushing for all grass fields.
  3. Completely false. He doesn't like to tackle. That's the issue. He graded out as one of the best cover corners in the league the final stretch of the season last year covering a couple of the biggest names in football. He doesn't play the run. He isn't physical enough to play in an undersized zone scheme where corners are frequently relied on to set the edge. So asking him to come downhill and fill gaps in the run game is out of the question.
  4. Wide receiver in the first when Hyde will most likely be gone and the rest of the secondary is cheeks with the exception of Douglas?
  5. Shakir is the answer. Been saying all season, why have we forgotten the quick slant and pop pass to the slot? Shakir is better with the ball in his hands than Beasley and a much better receiver than McKenzie.
  6. If the whole team shows up. A complete game in all 3 facets, this team is a 13 win team.
  7. 5 drops and 3 big misses on deep passes... I honestly didn't see an issue with the play calling for the most part. I think most level headed people can admit Josh and his receivers played poorly today.
  8. Purdy's production says otherwise. It's not Brock's fault that McDermott took so long to fire Dorsey.
  9. And the INT wasn't an awful play either, just a great play by the corner in the end. He completed a similar contested ball to Diggs for a touchdown. That was what I would consider a true gun slinger kind of pick.
  10. Having an untouchable entity officiating the games means there is zero accountability and that they could be easily influenced to say, help keep a game close. The NFL embraced gambling as a way to drive up viewership. First you give the user a taste, then you get them hooked.
  11. If this is true, can Terry at least force him to hire a defensive coordinator?
  12. I can't believe there are people in this thread claiming Dodson and Droian Williams of all people are gonna be studs. With the way this season has gone I'd put Spector in the middle and let Bernard man Milano's spot to give him more opportunities to make plays. Spector is more talented than Williams or Dodson and it's time to work him in to the defense. Kid was an absolute terror against the run in preseason.
  13. After all the failings in the 2nd half, Josh yet again handed the keys to McDermott with under 2 minutes to go. The Eagles had to kick a 59 yard field goal with no timeouts left. Sloppy conditions, the chaos that would ensue from running the offense off and the special teams unit on and had to be done in an extreme pressure situation all played to McDermott's hand. So what does he do? He calls a timeout... Not the Eagles, they didn't have any, but the Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott called a ***** timeout.
  14. Remember Jim Schwartz? He had a hell of defense. Still does to this day.
  15. Beane should absolutely stay. With a competent head coach he could honestly be an even better GM. Remember, McDermott hired Beane. McDermott has way too much say in personnel decisions I bet. Some of the moves they make reek of Sean's nepotism and reluctance to work with anyone outside his circle.
  16. Almost lost to the Giants also. Let them drive all the way down the field and got lucky on 4th down.
  17. Lost the team. Scape goated every single coordinator and assistant that's come through the doors. Except this year he chose to run the defense himself and it's worse than it ever was. It's time to fire the defensive coordinator.
  18. Imagine trying to get right in your NFL career at QB and Nathaniel Hackett is calling the plays. Like trying to win a 40 yard dash with no legs.
  19. I think Beane has proven he can find talent in all rounds of the draft. Whether or not this coaching staff can properly utilize said talent is an entirely different discussion. Even when McDermott can't figure it out, another team typically does. Moss, Singletary, Teller, Hodgins and soon to be Elam.
  20. Well I'm 40, so to me, he's a kid lol. The power in the conference is Brady's fault. A lot of teams spent a lot of time building a franchise that could beat Brady and the Pats and by the time most of them caught up, he was retired and the Pats were an empty husk. We've beaten Lamar and we've stomped Tua repeatedly. We can beat Mahomes in the regular season and we can't overcome the mighty Joe Burrow. We don't lose those games because of Allen typically. It's the rest of the team. We play a defensive style that lends itself to being carved up by a good QB and it's sad that that's the reason Allen takes so much flack. Unlike baseball, you can throw a perfect game and still lose in the NFL and it's happened to Allen more than once. That's why his confidence is shaken because again, what more does he need to do? Does he have to play linebacker as well? Safety? Call the defense? On a complete, well coached team, Allen has more than one Super Bowl ring at this point in his career, no matter which conference he plays in.
  21. His stats have plateaued because you can't get much better in a lot of areas of his game. I mean the kid is setting records every year, what more can you ask for? The issue is we are seeing another historic fumbling of opportunities from this franchise. Allen unfortunately has an excellent chance of being the next Dan Marino, a generational talent wasted by a middling franchise.
  22. I would love to see Cook become the all purpose back they drafted him to be. Could definitely still be used more in the passing game but he's closing in on a 1,000 all purpose yards and should easily eclipse that this season. Just remember, the K-Gun was powered by Thurman Thomas for those of you getting nostalgic.
  23. There was a bar here that served The Stinger, which was a steak sub with cut up chicken fingers doused in hot Country Sweet sauce and topped the whole thing with blue cheese. I believe it was named after the sting you felt in your chest after eating one.
  24. If I go to hell, Tony Romo and Chris Collinsworth will call every football game.
  25. Makes you wonder if Dorsey ever game planned for his opponent. Maybe he just wasn't able to pick up on cues and tendencies of other team's defenses. Brady seemed to have a lot of answers for the Jets #3 defense tonight.
