Shaw66
If you remember Terence McGee, or if you don't, take a minute and watch the greatest kickoff return that didn't go for a touchdown in the history of the league. The guy could play corner, too. 5 1

st pete gogolak
What's crazy and maddening about the play is that at the 30 second mark of the film, the chances of McGee scoring a touchdown on the play have to be about 99%. He's got three blockers in front of him and one Saint left to beat. The Saint gets absolutely crushed and McGee (who has to be absolutely beyond gassed at this point) just has to move a bit to avoid the guy on the ground but gets tripped up trying to go over him. Yes, that is incredibly Billsy!

fridge
I've posted this in the past before as well. It's one of my favorite Bills moments for so many reasons. That he didn't score makes it all that more memorable to me. McGee is probably the most underrated KR in NFL history.
bouds
McGee was !@#$ing awesome, just a shame he got injured. Remember watching that return live, it was so Bills. Peters was insanely good on ST as well, what a player.

bouds
Think of all the great cornerbacks who were pretty good return men in this league, McGee is still the only one to take a KR and Int to the house in the same game. Did it against the Bengals. Edited May 24, 2018 by bouds

blacklabel
That was one of those crazy drought moments that left you thinking, "Really?! They can't catch a break on that one? He does all that and then his own man gets in his way and trips him up? This team is cursed!"

TigerJ
Interestingly, when he was drafted, he was not seen as a sure thing at CB. He couldn't backpedal like a normal CB, and had to learn after he was drafted. Fortunately, he picked it up quickly and had a nice, if too short career in Buffalo. I couldn't agree more. It is weird to think of how pleased I was when that guy got a deal that took him away from the Bills. pleased because he always worked so hard and it paid off for the young man with a reasonably sweet deal (4.5 million or so per, if memory serves) for a guy who at the beginning didn't even seem like he'd make it a year or two in the league. Edit: From Spotrac- 4 year, 21.1 million dollar deal, with a $5.3 million signing bonus and $11.3 million guaranteed. Mickey
What I remember about McGee is that Belichik was so worried about McGee's KO returns that he always squibbed the KO when McGee was back there. I have never seen Belichik more frightened of a Buffalo Bill than he was of McGee.
