Good on him, he has a history with Brady at LSU.Ā  I wonder if we could get him cheap to replace Harris/Murray as change of pace back.

I've been connecting CEH to the Bills for a bit now. Between the Brady connection, the fact he's played big against the Bills and now him showing what kind of character he has it wouldn't shock me at all to see him here. He shouldn't command much on the open market. That is, if he doesn't re-sign with the Chiefs to stay on and back up Pacheco.

He's 3rd on the pecking order in KC assuming McKinnon is still there/healthy. He might be looking for a change of scenery since he got bumped by Pacheco etc. Yet he wouldn't start here so he might still go elsewhere yet think he's a good compliment to Cook. Of course I could also see going after AJ Dillon or drafting someone late like Isaiah Davis in the draft to give us a "bigger" back.Ā

Good on him. Selfless, heroic act in a high stress moment. Bravo.

And now for a little football talk...

CEH is just 24 years old, was a recent 1st round pick, had over 1,000 yards from scrimmage as a rookie, and has history with Joe Brady. I thought he actually looked pretty good in the limited opportunities he got late in the Chiefs' season in the playoffs.

If he's looking to resuscitate his career on another high octane offense and with a coach with whom he had great success in college, I'm all for signing CEH. Doubt he's going to command big money of any kind.Ā

Sometimes you just need an opportunity and a fresh start (see Moss, Zack).

That's a great thing to hear.

Now for the jokes.

Ā

Chiefs Coaching staff/FO conflicted on feelings of player committing opposite of a crime.

This is a commendable action, but we really donā€™t need any more good news about the Chiefs. We get it. They are superior humans and eat Buffalos for lunch. Ā

Are you under the impression that alleged crimes are uncommon among football players?

Other than 'sheltering' the kid, I'm not clear what he did.Ā Ā But the family seems both impressed and thankful, so congrats to CEH.Ā  Ā

Ā

Sadly, our country has too many bad role models: actors smashing cars while high, ballers beating their spouses, and so on.Ā  It's great when an athlete does something selfless & good that maybe inspires someone else.Ā Ā

Josh would have done it too.

Ā

Only the bullets would have bounced off his cape

So in the Superman movie his clothes get burned off on the oil rig fire. But somehow his cape and suit are unharmed just as he is.Ā  Do they ever explain in the comics how it is that his suits are also impervious to bullets, fire, nuclear bombs, and such???

Ā

Yes and you can get info at Superman museum in Cleveland.

Ā

Costume and cape do get wrecked often in physical battles especially his cape.

Surely you saw Death of Superman covers with torn costumes and torn cape being hung.

True, true. Yet, the question remains, wouldā€™ve Diggs done it???
