Desert Bills Fan
I noticed this twice, in each of the last 2 games, prior to the offense getting back on the field. And I thought: that was pretty strange for a guy who used to be too hyped up with a “sugar rush”.. anyone else see that? 1

bills742
He famously did it on the sidelines against New England couple years ago while we were up big and it was deemed "savage". Maybe he should use a few more to get savage mode back on. 2 2

Bobby Hooks
It could just be a habit at this point. When I bowl I have to put my hand over the little fan. My hands could be dry as the Sahara, I still have to feel those wild winds through my digits. 1

strive_for_five_guy
Was this after he dropped the handoff to Cook and looked ready to fall asleep? He seriously needs to take something to wake up during the games. Hopefully a 4:25 start helps. 1
WotAGuy
Once Josh gets his girl problems fixed, he’ll be fine. Between that and all the ways the coaches are trying to change him, the poor kid doesn’t know which end is up. 4 1

MJS
Very common in the NFL. Even Brady used to do it, and he won't eat a tomato. Edited November 18, 2023 by MJS

Bubba Gump
It's very common in the NFL and NHL. what I don't understand is why some coaches use them too. Adam Gase used to, and just last night I saw one of the Sabres asst coaches hitting one a few times. Not sure why they would need them, unless they're hooked on them. 2
Cheektowaga Chad
Helps with focus more than anything in my experience Also helps "getting up to speed" rather than taking a a minute to figure out the pace of play you're already there

stevewin
Random tangential story: For the Dolphins game this year we got on the field after the game (my son got passes for doing one of the promos on the jumbo) and there were a bunch of those broken smelling salts things on the field. I assume it was during TOs - was something I was not expecting at all
