CB depth is never a bad thing. At some point in my opinion Jackson, Benford and Elam will all make starts. Some due to injury and some due to matchup.

Agree. Its a good thing if all are capable starters. Perhaps Benford is moved to safety next year if Hyde is not brought back.

And this of course assumes White is back to form. He was really bad last year. They will start him no matter how poorly he is playing would be my guess.

I might just exclusively post about Dalton Kincaid for the rest of the offseason.

Go ahead, I get moist every time I hear good things about him. I hope this carries on through pre season and into the regular season (his improvement I mean, not the moistness)

Do you need to pay the 8$ to get it off? I was on Twitter alot until this rate thing. Huge PITA

I guess if you pay the $8/mo you get to read 50% more tweets a day or something like that. The policy seems to keep changing. But I’ve read of subscribers still having similar issues hitting rate limits.

No way am I paying $8/mo for Twitter, especially in its current form (not that I’d have paid for it previously either).

Surprised the Bills haven’t had Greg Tompsett and the boys from Cover 1 escorted out. Great for us fans, but you just know McD doesn’t like it.

Wasn’t there something a couple years back where those guys asked for, and were denied, media access/privileges? Team may regret that now.

the juice that Kincaid is bringing into the discussion this year is palpable. Oh baby Baby BABY.

What makes this pick even sweeter is how badly it was reported that Dallas wanted to draft him. And we swooped in and grabbed Kincaid first.

The indignation on the face of Jerry Jones PRICELESS

I really really hate to say this, but at this point I almost feel as though any win against Spencer Brown needs an asterisk.

Looking at the series of pics, I’m not convinced Brown got beat by Groot in the least. The entire sequence took place within five yards and Brown looks to be engaged from beginning to end. If he was beat by move in the first pic, he had recovered nicely by the time the second pic occurred and was still locked up with Groot in the last pic.

Lets put this in perspective. Rapp #20 runs a 40-yard dash in an unofficial 4.74

Kincaid must not of had a good running day cause Kincaid Ran a 4.64 and looks way way faster then Rapp on the field.

If Kincaid is going to blow by Safeties in this league? What in gods earth is he going to do to most LB's? To big for a CB, way to fast for a LB. To shifty for a LB

Getting me excited.

He was always going to excel in this portion of camp.

The real test will be how he deals with physicality when the pads come on.

It'd be worth watching who exactly is getting by Brown, if Groot is one of the only ones doing it consistently then at the very least Brown is better than he was last year.

Good point. Maybe it's not  Brown. Maybe Groot is going to have a monster season.

Define really bad.  He had a QBR of 75.8 against his coverage last year (between Kenny Pickett and Zach Wilson level of play, the worst two QBs by QBR).  That is up from 2021 (59.9) and his all pro year in 2018 (43.3) but not different than his rookie year or 2020.  Even in a "down" year he was still good.  They will start him cause hes always good and thats when HE is playing poor.  From the improvement we saw every game last year and what weve heard from this year I expect him to have a better year than last.

That's a bell that the bills can't un-ring.

Cover 1 asked for media passes and were denied.  Now they have the fastest access to the practices.

The bills would look pretty bad if they didn't at least offer them media passes if they wanted them to stop.

Otherwise, not giving them media access and banning them from the facility would be ugly from a PR stance.

The Bills must give the ok to players to go on their podcasts though .. so it seems the organization, at the very least, tolerates them.

Agree completely.  Morse is not a power run blocker.  Just Not.  He excels in pin and pull.  At least part of the Bills problems running the ball seem to have been, trying to execute run plays they don't have the Hawgs for.

This is the sort of thing that drives us all crazy wrt reff'ing.  "Sticky" coverage or holding? Davis jersey is stretched backwards in one of these pics

I wish there were video of this. Certainly looks like an obvious hold that would be called, but with only a still frame, it's hard to know if it would be something he might have gotten away with. Also that he was able to get to the inside of Davis makes me wonder if it wasn't PI.

You gotta remember they had all but Dalton Kincaids Jersey ready to go in Dallas on draft night at the Bills jumped up to steal him leaving their draft room totally silent.
They hate the Bills down there so weird cause they rarely play each other. I admit you can practically hear them dipping skoal watching nascar in the backround when you listen to them.

I honestly think that '19 Thanksgiving game in Dallas still resonates with them.

If you weren't closely paying attention, it would've been easy to leave Buffalo's third camp practice thinking Kincaid played every first-team snap.

And that's been the theme of the Bills' first week of 2023 training camp -- Kincaid being fast-tracked into what unequivocally feels like will be a prominent, instant-impact role for a rookie within Buffalo's dynamic offense.

At first glance, Kincaid simply moves different than any other tight end on the roster. He exudes fluidity off the snap, when running his routes and after the catch. That forward "lean" description typically reserved for speedy receivers and backs emanates from each stride Kincaid makes on the field.

In team drills against the first-team defense, Kincaid shook second-year linebacker Baylon Spector with a slot wideout-esque whip route that opened a massive throwing window over the middle for Josh Allen and, vitally, created a valley of space to run after the catch.

Later, Spector tipped a seam throw from Allen that probably would've resulted in a touchdown down the seam. And it came on a play in which veteran tight end Dawson Knox went in motion to run a wheel route down the sideline. Yep, Knox running a clearing route, essentially decoying for the youngster.

Seems like it.  I've seen other media commenting and retweeting on what they post as a backdoor to getting in on the action.  I can't say for sure if they are "official" media members but I think as long as they aren't reporting it, they are in the clear.
