peterpan
We can’t afford 2-3-4 drops a game out of Davis in the playoffs. Brown has been here for a few weeks now, and should be up to speed. His catch today proves he still has it. give the reliable vet the start over the young guy with feet for hands. 7 3 6 4

dollars 2 donuts
Davis might honestly be the worst #2 of any team in the playoffs. …which is not very encouraging. So tired of it being on Allen and Diggs all the time through the air and then once every 4-5 weeks Davis does something impersonating a #2. Thankfully there has been more Knox in the second half of the season. EDIT: and respectfully, fyi, Davis is the 87th leading receiver in the league with Allen at QB. pigpen65
Davis can't catch *****. Whether it's Brown or somebody else, anybody who can catch the ball will be an upgrade to Davis. 1

Nextmanup
Does anyone know how fast Brown is, right now? I would imagine he has lost a few steps; he did have a spectacular TD catch today though. The team knows better than us how fast/slow he is; that could be a factor. Replacing Davis is an off-season project IMO.
Billznut
Can’t do that at this point. But definitely before next year’s season opener I hope someone else is our number 2 receiver and Davis is number 3.

Davis has struggled most of the year. Smoke can still bring it that was a marvellous TD a catch. Anyone think Gabe would’ve caught that?
buffalo2218
I'm not ready to give up on Davis yet, I agree with the rotation with Brown however. What Davis did last year can't be dismissed just like that, I'm willing to see how he does in the playoffs 2 1 2

It could very be an off year for him. Short leash yes, move on no. 2

LABILLBACKER
Unfortunately I think we're seeing Gabe play himself right out of a 2nd contract. Between the ankle issues and drops he just can't be counted on. Just another validation as to why we need to draft wr along with OL. billsbackto81
We've seen him at his best and his best is pretty darn good. I'll stick with Gabe and hold out hope. We will see Beasley and Smoke moving forward anyway.

Still would be nice to have a top level LG in the draft next year. I think WR/OL/S will be high on the list. HalftimeAdjustment
Davis's drops are a problem, but likely we can't address it with guys who were out of the league to start the year. He gets into position to make the catch but drops too many. The other guys may not even get into position which could lead to sacks or INTs. Have to trust the coaches. The other WR who does not have reliable hands is McKenzie.

Davis has his issues but just like last week when Allen missed Beasley, not every ball that the WR gets his hands on can be caught.
Eastport bills
Davis will be fine in the playoffs. Bottom line is he’s getting separation, he will make plays guaranteed. Brown is perfect for stretching the field and opening things up underneath.

Buffalo Ballin
We shouldn't be benching Gabe Davis. He's still healthy. Team morale gonna take a hit if you bench him regardless of his drops. Just play him and let's see what happens. I'm low on him as well, but he's still a threat for touchdowns and clutch catches.
